“A hidden treasure. We discovered this remarkable place when looking to book a place to mark a special occasion.. Hands down the most extensive menu out of London we have ever experienced. Offering the best food and all your favourites from 70s/80s/90s. The most amazing prawn and avocado cocktail, fillet steak with pepper corn sauce. Puds galore. Can’t wait to return if we can ever get a booking after this review. Special thanks to Janus , Dav and of course the talented chef!!! Amongst the party we also had four children… they had a brilliant offering for kids and were welcomed.”

“We had the most amazing time hosting our engagement party here! The venue is so classy and elegant and the food was delicious!! Our guests really enjoyed the food and are already planning to go back for dinner again in the future. A special shout-out to Janus and Guiseppe, who were absolutely fantastic. They went above and beyond to help bring our vision to life and made the whole experience so enjoyable and eased our anxieties of hosting such a huge event. Their attention to detail and willingness to help with anything we needed really made a difference. They were easy to contact and made us feel so supported! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such an important milestone. Thank you to the entire team, especially Giuseppe and Janus, for making our engagement party so memorable. “I visited Coombe Wood House with a friend for lunch on a Saturday. It was surprisingly quiet—we were the only guests at around 1 pm. We then moved out to the terrace, which was lovely and made for a much nicer setting. The service was excellent throughout. The staff were friendly, attentive, and very helpful. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The chicken was overcooked and very dry. I chose the chicken with tarragon, tomato sauce, and olives because I like trying new flavour combinations, but for me, it simply didn’t work. The tomato sauce and olives overwhelmed the dish and didn’t complement the chicken or tarragon. On the positive side, the desserts were excellent and easily the highlight of the meal.”
