Customer Review Summary
Breakfast is the main draw at this farm cafe, with reviewers singling out the Eggs Benedict and eggs Royale, pancakes with bacon and maple syrup, and sweet waffles with banana and caramel. Close behind are the cakes on the counter, described as stunning, along with caramel shortbread and the pistachio and chocolate ice cream. Coffee and tea draw praise too, and a cheese and onion toastie came with what one diner called the best ever coleslaw. Several mention friendly, helpful staff, and the countryside views and outdoor play park come up repeatedly. Criticism is mild but specific: the loaded fries were seen as small and overpriced for the portion, the hash browns struck one diner as strange, and one sister found the bacon in her sandwich too tough. A reviewer also regretted that the coffee loyalty card is no longer offered. At a car meet, the kiosk food was called limited and messy, with no napkins or bins. Several reviewers say they plan to come back, and one left with a piece of caramel shortbread because it was too tempting to leave behind.

“Love the dairy barn for breakfast and it was a lovely sunny day to sit outside. The bacon and cheese bagel is always a fave. Unfortunately my sister felt the bacon in her bacon sandwich was too tough but it was fine for my taste. I forgot my coffee loyalty card and was told that these are no longer offered these but existing cards will be honored. This is such a shame as is a lovely bonus. Great location with stunning views. Highly recommend.”

“We were recommended to go to the dairy barn for lunch which was lovely place I had a cheese and onion toastie which was served with side salad crisps and the best ever coleslaw I have ever had. I was a little disappointed because I didn't have any room for pudding and the cakes look delicious.”

“Amazing place to have a brew and look at stunning views. We only had coffee and ice cream, both of which were so delicious I forgot the photo. The food we saw looked lovely and it's very reasonably priced. We'll be back for lunch soon.”

“Attended an organised car meet here on Thursday 23/07/2026. Good event was well organised. But the food served at the Mini Barn kiosk was a let down, limited choice, cheap ingredients, was messy and there were no napkins or bins. A burger van with a griddle would be a lot better for these events.”
