“Stopped at the 68 Café yesterday on our motorbike trip and it was absolutely spot on. The service was incredibly fast, and the waitresses were friendly, welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent, the coffee was first class, and the selection of cakes was enough to make it very difficult to choose just one! It’s in a great location too, making it the perfect stop whether you’re out for a ride or just passing through. We’ll definitely be calling in again. Highly recommended!”

“Haven’t been for a few years since spending time in Edinburgh and my home in Pompey. Still as good, home cooked food, has the steak pie, chips and gravy. All for fifteen quid. Lovely place to spend an hour of your heading back south or going north and want to miss out the A1 and experience the beauty of Northumberland”

“Cake heaven. Been meaning to call in here for ages, so glad I finally did. Brew up a great cup of coffee. Options of large sizes, do had to be a large americano, brewed just right. Chicken bacon and brie toasty with ginger cake. Spot in, perfect consistency with the right amount of ginger to sponge. Will be back to sample more cakes.”
