About Kings Head
The Kings Head sits on the High Street in Cromer, a local pub where the dog-friendly front bar opens onto the street and the garden out back hosts regular karaoke nights. Inside, the kitchen turns out comfort-food plates, with katsu curry and mac and cheese among the regulars on the menu. Dogs are welcome inside, and the garden offers a casual outdoor space for singers and spectators on karaoke evenings. It is a walk-in pub, and the team serves at the bar throughout the day.

“Really disappointed with our experience at this pub. The staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful from the moment we arrived. They reluctantly seated us, only to embarrassingly change their minds shortly afterward. It felt like they just didn’t want to do their jobs and, instead of helping, they gave us conflicting information and excuses that didn’t add up. To make matters worse, the way they handled the situation was embarrassing in front of other customers. We left feeling frustrated and unwelcome. Definitely won’t be returning.”

“We recently visited Cromer for the day and stopped in for lunch. Food was good, service great. We left full and happy for a walk round the town. We even decided to pop back for a drink later in the day and the vibe was good. Will go back again the next time we visit.”

“Came in the other day for the karaoke in the pub garden. Atmosphere was great had a lovley vibe to it. Staff were attentive and friendly and knew when the next events they had on would be. We also chose to eat in the pub just after the karaoke. The food was amazing I had the katsu curry and my partner had the mac and cheese, both portion sizes were filling and came out in good time. Well done the kings head thoroughly enjoyed and will be back soon.”

“We went here for lunch having eaten here several times over the past 15years. All three meals we ordered were burnt, we complained and asked for a refund, they would only refund one of the meals a burger which had 2 beef pattys that were burnt black on one side rendering them inedible. Unfortunately it was taken back before I could take a photo of the burgers. My lasagne was burnt to a cinder around the edges, my husband's gammon and egg was inedible, the gammon was like shoe leather and the egg black and crispy underneath. We asked to see the manager who was unavailable, we left having eaten none of the food but being charged £40 after refund for the experience. Avoid eating here at all costs, they don't care what the food is like and they know that some other unsuspecting punter will be along in a minute.”

“Absolute dump of a pub, food was like left overs, tables were filthy. Bar staff slow and put others ahead whilst people qued for ages , they went where the money was like big groups of lads out on drinking sessions.. Toilets disgusting and stunk. Very suprised about the other reviews people gave it. Wont go in again, the Wellington it will be from now on.”
