About Earlsdon Supper Club
Earlsdon Supper Club is a fine dining restaurant in Coventry, hosted in the chef's home at 62 Mayfield Rd. Guests sit together at one large dining table and meet the other diners over a six-course tasting menu, with the chef explaining each course. The menu changes monthly and follows the seasons, drawing on locally sourced organic produce, vegetables from the chef's allotment and foraged ingredients. The kitchen cooks with a zero-waste approach. A vegetarian alternative is offered for the meat courses. The chef won Chef of the Year in 2021 and 2022. Guests bring their own drinks to the table. Courses are spread over several hours, making dinner a full evening.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers center on the multi-course tasting menu cooked by the host, who explains each dish at a shared table. The apple pre-dessert is singled out, and one vegetarian diner found the meat-free courses just as imaginative. Reviewers also cite vegetables from his allotment and the zero-waste approach, and several mention meeting fabulous people. One notes bringing your own drinks cuts the bill, and that it fills a full evening.

“Went last night for my brother's birthday - it was fantastic! A really creative and delicious menu cooked with huge flair and skill. Tobias is a brilliant chef and a relaxed and lovely host. We felt totally at ease sitting around his large dining table and chatting away between courses of wonderful food. He explained each dish to us and the presentation was beautiful. Fine dining that is very well priced and makes a great evening. Prepare to stay for some time -its a full evening. You take your own drinks which is great too and cuts the bill considerably as no expensive restaurant wine prices. Thanks Tobias for welcoming us into your home, treating us so well and providing a really special evening,”

“This weekend we had yet another fantastic meal by Tobias. The Earlsdon Supper Club experience is second to none, as Tobias opens up his home to cook you an amazing six course tasting menu. During the evening, you get the opportunity to meet like-minded individuals and experience sensational locally sourced delicious food to boot!! If you’ve been thinking, about eating here, you 100% should!!”

“Wow! Treated ourselves to dinner at Earlsdon Supper Club on 16 November for our wedding anniversary. The food was outstanding from start to finish. It was great to hear Tobias talk through his inspiration for each course; he had clearly put a lot of thought into every detail. For courses with meat, I had the vegetarian alternative. There was just as much thought and imagination went into those as into the meat dishes. Aside from the food, we met new people at the table who were fabulous company (if you’re reading this, you’ll know what I mean when I say my husband’s retirement plans have stepped up the pace!). What a great night all round. We’re looking forward to hearing about future menus and making a return visit.”

“We had a fantastic night as a family of three a few years back and forgot to leave a review. If you are looking for a different experience or visiting Coventry for a few days and want to meet new people, then I'd highly recommend trying out Earlsdon Supper Club for a communal fine dining experience. You can't go wrong with organic, locally produced food and an evolving seasonal menu. Keep up the fantastic work Tobias and the ESC crew!”
