Quick info
About Anatolia
Anatolia is a Turkish restaurant at 52B Earlsdon St in Coventry, built around kebabs and charcoal-grilled meat. Lamb chops come off the charcoal grill, and every table starts with complimentary bread, salad and dips before the main dishes arrive. Lamb shish and a mixed grill of chicken and lamb shish sit alongside the chops, and the Anatolia Platter for two is set up for sharing. A Turkish lamb pizza adds a baked option, and Efes draught beer is on tap. A complimentary aperitif is part of the welcome. The lunch menu combines starters, unlimited bread, a main and a soft drink.

Customer Review Summary
Diners most often point to the lamb, naming the lamb shish and lamb chops, with the succulent lamb kebab served with yoghurt, tomato and bread close behind. The tender marinated chicken kebab, Turkish lamb pizza, calamari and the Anatolia Platter for two, where the chicken wings stood out, also draw praise. Several mention the complimentary bread, salad and dips that arrive first, and one notes a complimentary aperitif. Reviewers describe the staff as friendly and the food as fresh and delicious, and some call the atmosphere warm or lovely. The dips and salad also suited a vegan diner in one group. Value comes up repeatedly, including generous portions, reasonably priced drinks and a lunch menu with unlimited bread. The one mixed review found the chicken kofte kebab and lamb chops drier and a bit chewy, and the hummus average, though the mix grill shish was great. That reviewer felt it suits a casual night out more than high expectations. Several reviewers say they plan to return, and one walked in without a booking on New Year's Day.

“May 2026. Went for dinner early evening. Complimentary warm bread, salad bowl and dips arrived first which was very nice and we then shared the Anatolia Platter for two. This is a superb meal, the chicken wings were outstanding. All washed down with a bottle of Efes Draught. The Anatolia has to be the premium Turkish restaurant in Coventry.”

“Brilliant lamb shish and lamb chops. Love the salad, dips and fresh bread that is complimentary as a starter. Atmosphere is lovely. I came here on New Year’s Day 2026. It was just right. We didn’t have a booking and just walk in. Around 5-6pm.”

“Nice ambience. The food was delicious. We were 4 people, enjoyed our meal, service was nice. The chicken and lamb shish in mix grill was great, Calamari was tasty as well, however the chicken Kofte kebab and lamb chops were on the drier side and a bit chewy. Humus was average. If you go for a random eating out, you won’t be disappointed but if you go with high expectations, it won’t be the best choice.”
