  “Really good pub. I had a lovely lasagne and my son had the katsu chicken which was delicious and huge. Great service too - don’t know how the waitress managed to juggle so many orders, but she did a great job!”

  “We were a table of 11 tonight celebrating a birthday. Jack came to the table and took our order. The food was amazing and the service was fast. We all ate together aswell. Nothing was too much trouble. We're so lucky to have such a great local. Sarah and the team do a fab job. Thanks guys!!”

  “Had a lovely meal at The Newlands last Friday after not having been here for a while- it was so good we went again tonight! Lovely tabel service and meals were nicely presented and tasted great. No photos... too busy enjoying our food.”

  “Not a local but went here with a friend for an afternoon during a time where it wasnt too busy. Quick service, very solid food quality at decent prices, clearly a family oriented place but not alienating for non families. Restroom was clean, we were served efficiently with a smile. Atmosphere was peaceful inside with subtle decor. Would recommend”

  “Came here for a breakfast the other week, every coffee mug I picked up was dirty, food was ok - bit on the burnt side, but was definitely not impressed with the cleanliness. Staff could be a bit more inviting but ok overall. Also came here for dinner, I have never seen such disgusting menus, covered in all sorts and smelt awful, I had to wipe them down with a baby wipe myself and when notifying the staff, they didn’t say anything, just took it away. Steak was medium well done, even though I had asked for medium rare, not the best cut either as was quite fatty and left still hungry. I thought it was good that they had the bouncy castle for the kids, just be careful running around on the grass, as there are a few holes. Overall I would probably have a drink here, but definitely not somewhere I would want to go for food again.”

  “Can I just say how amazing this local pub is. The team here are helpful and always a service with a smile. The food is incredibly tasty, the manager is amazing and overall you have a lovely relaxing time when you visit. The garden area is incredibly inviting and there is an amazing vibe here. We visit most Friday evenings and also mid week sometimes. Please know that the Sunday dinners here are amazing and fresh! Overall, we grab an uber from Eastern Green just to visit here. Far better than your local clubs. If you haven't been, you must visit! Well done the Newlands”

  “I love coming here. There’s a pool table. The food is really good. I recommend the rainbow lasagne or the big burger. On this occasion, I had a mixed grill. It was very good! Love the quick food arrivals. Hasn’t let me down before.”

  “We came here for dinner the other day and have to say it's some of the best pub food we've tried in Coventry. The portions are huge and the prices are very affordable. Service was overall friendly and helpful and unlike other pubs they offer table service. We'll be back for more soon!”
