Quick info
About Bees Indian Restaurant Bar & Grill
Bees Indian Restaurant Bar & Grill sits on the High Street in Colchester, close to Colchester Castle and Castle Park, and runs as a family restaurant covering Indian and Bangladeshi cooking alongside its bar and grill side. The menu spans north and south Indian dishes, and a Sunday buffet from 12pm to 8pm features around a dozen items, with poppadoms, naans, chutneys and sides making up a typical meal. The dining room takes reservations for its tables, and a private room at the back hosts larger groups. Valet parking is offered on site, and dogs are welcome in the space. The lunch buffet draws a busy room, so a wait is common at the weekend.

“We were meandering around Colchester on a Friday lunchtime and noticed bees were open for business. The four of us placed our orders and the meal was served within about twenty five minutes. The food was freshly cooked and very appetising. The young female waitress was really polite and efficient. I personally had two pints of lager and my friends had cokes,we all had good sized meals with poppadoms, naans, chutneys, side dishes and mains. For four people we had change out of £95. I wouldn't have any reservations about recommending bees Indian restaurant.”

“Have been to this restaurant few times. Good food and great customer service. They customise based on our requests. Nice place to try out Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine. Easy to locate and it is near to the Colchester castle park. They also have Special Buffet at just £16.95 available only on Sundays from 12:00pm to 8:00pm. Will visit again!”
