  “Our first visit here after being terribly let down by The Hook on Clacton seafront. Geo's is wonderful! We dined in and first of all we were impressed by the efficiency of the staff and the general cleanliness of the restaurant area. We were quickly seen to by the excellent female staff member who took our order and promptly returned with two delicious hot mugs of tea. Then the main meal arrived - we both had Rock & Chips at a wallet friendly £14.50 each - this was a massive portion of fish, mine outstretched the oval plate and my Mother actually had two separate smaller ones which equalled my fish in size together. The chip were beautiful, traditional seaside style, fluffy and chunky, just as we like them!! The entire experience is a far cry from The Hook with their cardboard boxes and wooden cutlery, Geo's serves up on a large oval plate with proper knives and forks! It might not sound much but it makes all the difference... We will definitely be returning to Geo's in future and next time I plan to leave room for a dessert because the line-up on the menu looked very tempting but alas I was full of fish & chips! Its a solid 5 stars from both of us, do not change what you are doing, its perfect and gives Clacton an exceptional seaside restaurant and take away which deserves all the accolades it can get! Thank you for a wonderful experience...”

  “Well what can I say, absolutely fantastic 2x haddock and chips and 3x cod and chips that was an eat in. The batter was lovely and crispy and the flesh was done to perfection. The chips were very chunky and a lovely and golden The service was very friendly and prompt, took just over 15 minutes for our meals to be on the table 👍 So 3x cod and 2x haddock, 1 tea 2 coffees and a J2o total was just under £95, I don’t think that was to bad tbh …. Would definitely go there again without a shadow of doubt”
