Customer Review Summary

Reviewers point to the view of the sea and pier. Burgers were called nice and one diner got hot food, while a veg lasagne stuck to its dish. Service draws the sharpest complaints: no check back, a rude waitress, and a manager who refused to move a party of eight from a dark corner table. One autistic diner praised safe food made off-menu.

“Good food, drink and service. it's such a shame that the outside screen is dirty with seagull squrts it spoils the view of the sea, pier and firework displays etc.”

“We have been before and was suprised at the quality of food and really happy with our service by a tall guy- didnt catch his name. We decided to go back couple of weeks later and take my son but the service was absolutly shocking this was by a female waitress. There was no check back and the food wasnt great my veg lasagne was stuck to the bottom of the dish. On a positive my partner and son enjoyed the burgers they said they was 'nice' Due to the poor customer service or lack of check back I didnt get a chance to give feedback. Unfortunately, I cant recommend a little over 100 pound for 4 people which isnt bad but for the experience- Probably should of grabbed a bag of chips and sat on the seafront.”

“Sunday before noon, there were only a handful of customers. The food arrived hot and we didn't have to wait long. Polite and decent service, and decent prices. Would happily visit again.”

“Dark haired front of house waitress is always SO rude - never friendly or welcoming everything is always so much effort for her. God knows why she’s been there year she’s awful. Very slow service”
  • Tracy Wakeling
“8 of us came in for coffee, we asked if we could book a table for lunch and said where we would like to sit, the waitress said she could not guarantee it (¿¿) but would try. we came back at 1 to a totally empty restaurant but were told we could not have the table incase someone else came in. as it was a table for 10, she then put us on a table for 9! the manager refused to move us and refused to check to see if anyone had booked the other table. nobody came in to eat whilst we were there, this is totally unacceptable.. the table we had was dark and squashed into a corner”
