  “My friend booked this for my birthday yesterday, had the steak another stone it was fabulous and I don't normally compliment chips but they're chunky and really tasty 😋 Service was very good would definitely recommend it.”

  “I was left a little disappointed after coming here ans didnt understand the fuss following a few recommendations. My wife and I both ordered the ribeye cooked to order. (I get it, you can also cook your own steak.... we didn't want to)...what we received was the thinnest piece of steak ive had in a very long time, maybe the thickness as a pencil, theres no way on earth it was 8oz. The weight leads me on to another point, for a steak restaurant why is practically every steak "8oz" except one? The wings were nice, onion rings were good, service was decent enoucu. But steak was just a massive let down.”

  “I had to come on here and leave this review, because I was so impressed with this restaurant today, the staff are absolutely wonderful, so friendly and helpful, and they definitely deserve my praise! My friend and I booked a joint 11th birthday party for our sons, and their friends, we chose the kids menus as they are recommended up to age 12. They are fantastic value, with a great selection to choose from, generous portions, and includes a free drink, which was pure fruit juices or squash. They also come with a scoop of ice cream for pudding. We asked the waiters if they could add the birthday cake after the children had blown out their candles. Which they were more than happy to do.. I was not expecting them to bring it all out on a platter, decorated so beautifully with added sparkler, fresh fruit, sauces and chocolate flakes. . We felt liked we had truely been given V.I.P service! Thank you to everyone at Black Rock for such a memorable afternoon, and we cannot wait to come back to dine with you again!”

  “Quiet family evening out, all had our steaks cooked rather than on stones, would have got rather over heated at the table if we had. All enjoyed mains and dessert, excellent service, on the pricey side due to it's location.”
