Customer Review Summary
Sunday roast draws the most mentions, with one diner happy with the turkey, well cooked and plentiful with an extra side of veg. Others found the roast beef bland and packet-like, and sauces arrived only once they had almost finished. Slow service recurs, from waiting for menus to waiting for the bill. One reviewer describes a fish and chips refunded in full.

“Visited 17th October 2026 Don’t think I’m going to go back in a hurry. No Scotch,Brandy or Bacardi at the bar. They don’t follow what was on the menu, garlic butter instead of creamy garlic sauce no crusty bread, just got brown slice dread once I asked. No bread with the prawn cocktail, but the prawns were nice. Another person had fish and chip, it really wasn’t edible, they got a full refund. Loaded nachos were a solid lump with crumbs underneath, nothing was said when we complained. Service was horrendous at bar and at table. No one had a clue We all got one free drink, whoopy… Toilets did flush and no water in the taps. Really should have closed. Had a singer which was good if the screaming kids and people shouting at each other weren’t there”

“We had the roast dinner on Sunday at 3pm, we didn't have a choice of all the meats as it was later in the day, but was very happy with our choice of turkey. The food was well cooked and plentiful with an extra side of veg. The staff were friendly and service was great. Will definately be back for some more.”

“Went for Sunday lunch. Booked. Just shown to the table. After 5min asked for a menu. Got food 15mins later very bland asked for sauce but didn't get them till we had about finished. When I asked for the bill had to wait at least 10 min. Didn't have a dessert went to the local shop as couldn't wait any longer.”

“Food was blanned i had a roast beef it tasted like it was out of a packet we asked for the menus when we first got in after 10 mins of waiting. Then when we got our food we asked for sauces which eventually turned up when we where almost finished”
