About Henry's Seafood Bar & Grill
Henry's Seafood Bar & Grill is a seafood restaurant at 3 Gosditch St in Cirencester, serving modern British food built around British produce. Fish leads the menu, and the Hake Kiev sits beside a lobster dish where diners take the meat out of the shell themselves, which makes that plate a hands-on one. Steaks run alongside the seafood, including a Ruby Red Rib Eye, so the kitchen covers both fish and meat. Tables suit a midday meal as well as an evening dinner celebration. The restaurant is open daily.

Customer Review Summary
Diners most often single out the table service, describing friendly, attentive waiters who kept food and drinks coming, looked after a large birthday group, and found a table for a walk-in on a packed night. The food comes close behind, with the Hake Kiev, the Ruby Red Rib Eye with triple cooked chips, the sirloin from the dry aged display, and the Cornish White Crab all called delicious and well cooked. At the bottomless brunch, reviewers name the Croque Madame and the Lobster Roll as fresh and tasty. Cocktails and wine earn compliments too, along with a lovely back patio with fire pits and lights. The complaints centre on brunch extras. One reviewer says fries were offered without making clear they cost extra, a service charge was added automatically, and ciders were not part of the deal. Another found the Nutella churros short on Nutella, with the chocolate sitting at the bottom of small bowls, and the lobster left to shell at the table. That same brunch reviewer notes the waiter still poured a glass of cider.

“10/10, 5★ experience. Alex was our server and truly made the visit feel special, attentive, warm, and effortlessly welcoming. This place is an absolute hidden gem in the Cotswolds. The food was nothing short of exceptional, every dish was packed with flavour and beautifully done. We visited on a Sunday and were blown away, so we’re already looking forward to coming back during the week to explore the full menu. The entire team created such a genuine, friendly atmosphere that made us feel completely at home. We can’t wait to return. Thank you all for such a memorable experience.”

“Wow! We had the best meal we have had out for a long time! I had the Hake Kiev and my husband had the Ruby Red Rib Eye steak. We had the triple cooked chips and the green beans and samphire sides. Absolutely amazing food, perfectly cooked! Our waitress, Abbie, was so helpful with our meal choices and just so lovely! I just wish we lived nearer - Henry's would most definitely be a regular choice for us! Thank you Abbie and thank you to the chef and to all the staff who make this place excellent!”

“Henry’s Seafood Bar & Grill was fantastic! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. A special shout-out to our waitress, Abby — she went above and beyond to find a table for me even though the place was packed and I didn’t have a reservation. Exceptional service and a great experience all around. Highly recommend!”
