About Luxe
Luxe is a cafe on Swan Yard in Cirencester, serving afternoon tea with unlimited drinks in a courtyard-style setting. Guests can order a different drink each time they want another round. The tea arrives with scones and individual sealed pots of jam and cream, and a cream tea is also on the menu for a lighter order. Beyond the tea, the kitchen makes Strawberry and Nutella french toast, and the drinks list includes a peach iced tea and a luxe slush. Dog owners can bring their dogs along, since dogs are welcome. Orders are placed at the counter.

Customer Review Summary
Afternoon tea and cream tea draw the most praise, with reviewers singling out light, fluffy scones, cakes, and a sausage roll with chutney, plus the pretty decor. The peach iced tea and Strawberry and Nutella french toast also get mentions. Complaints centre on dry carrot cake, a hard red velvet cake sent back, long counter waits and uncleared outdoor tables.

“Lovely courtyard feel dinning as sat outside. Peach iced tea a must to try. Strawberry and Nutella french toast was to die for. Struggled with last couple of mouthfuls as is very sweet but I wasn't about to leave any. Lol.”

“Very cute place and the cakes were lovely, but the staff seemed so disorganised. A lot of them seemed to be standing around at the back, and we were waiting at the counter to order for a long time. None of the tables outside were being cleared and had piles of used cups and plates on them. We were there for so long we needed to pay for longer on our parking and the playlist of songs started repeating itself! May have just been a particularly busy day but i'm not sure I'd rush to go back there.”

“My experience was just disappointing If you have any allergies ask as they’re not listed on the menu at all All I wanted was a panini luckily I saw outside while walking in that they had seeds on which I can’t have but they had no other options for bread to use And apparently they’re pre-made so my option for bringing my own bread was a no too Got told to have a sausage roll and no mention that they had seeds on either glad I didn’t order Ordered a red velvet cake which I had to send back as it was hard and didn’t seem fresh Wanted the luxe slush and they’d run out of the lemonade too Understaffed too A very disappointing visit drove 30 minutes just for this to be disappointed at every option I chose”

“Went for cream tea, and it was delicious. generous portions, great variety of savoury and sweet. The scones were amazing, light and fluffy. It was a decadent treat, and one that I will definitely go back for. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed, the decor is so pretty, and the seating comfortable. Great value for money. Thoroughly recommend going here.”

“I visited a while ago and couldn't wait to go back with more of my friends, its such a pretty quaint place. Great for photo's! We visited again today for afternoon tea and the food was delicious, the cakes are so light and fluffy and the sausage roll and chutney is amazing. It was an added bonus that you can have unlimited drinks and can order a different drink each time. It was very busy but the staff were amazing and looked after us the whole time we were there. We're already planning are next trip back.”
