Quick info
About Black Horse
Black Horse is a British pub on Castle St in Cirencester, with three simple B&B rooms upstairs for overnight stays. The kitchen serves traditional pub grub, and the bar pours drinks alongside it, so one building covers a meal, a drink and a room for the night. The pub is also classed as a British restaurant, which places the food alongside the bar in what the team runs. Dogs are welcome at the pub.

“The service was excellent: our server was polite, friendly and professional. Unfortunately, the food was extremely disappointing and fell well below expectations, particularly in the way the eggs were prepared and served. It is a real shame, as this is a lovely pub in a beautiful setting with plenty of potential. However, the poor quality of the food let it down, and despite the faultless service, I have no intention of returning.”

“Me and my friends visited this pub during our staycation. We called for a reservation before hand and they kindly accommodated us very last minute on a Saturday night. The food was fantastic! It came out so promptly and fresh and hot too. So delicious. The staff are extremely friendly and clearly appear to enjoy what they do. Thankyou for a lovely evening :)”
