“Incredibly rude Scottish woman (which seems to be recurring theme) served us. One of the group asked for ice and was huffed at, given a tiny bit but no one else was allowed any as it would melt by the time we’d left the serving hatch anyway apparently. Asked for filter coffee was told I meant Americano. I said I didn’t, I meant filter coffee, agreed on an Americano anyway to stop the argument. Another rude staff member came wading through the cafe moaning very loudly about chairs being moved so I left the rest of the group there. Myself and the group had met post-funeral and this place was more depressing! Do yourself a favour and grab a coffee in town before your trip to the lovely Priory Park.”
