Quick info
About Moto Pizza
Moto Pizza is a pizza restaurant in Chelmsford, at 24 Baddow Rd, serving all-you-can-eat wood-fired pizza by the slice. Staff bring different pizzas round to the table, and a "green light" system signals whether you want more, so one meal can cover many toppings. The pizzas include spicy salami with chilli honey, speck with mascarpone, and spinach with goat cheese and onion chutney. Some vegetarian pizzas come round too, and garlic bread appears now and then. Cocktails and other drinks are on offer, and seating is on benches. Bookings are not taken for parties under 5, so smaller groups walk in and wait in the waiting area with a drink, or receive a text when a table is ready. The team knows its allergens and accommodates allergies.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers come for the bottomless pizza, with slices carried round the table in a steady flow and enough variety that no one tires of a single topping. The spicy salami with chilli honey and the speck with mascarpone are singled out, and one reviewer points to the spinach, goat cheese and onion chutney pizza. Bases are described as chewy and well baked, and one reviewer estimates a quarter of the rounds are vegetarian. Close behind is the service, called friendly and quick, with several noting that staff handle allergies and young children easily. Cocktails also draw praise. The complaints concern getting in and comfort. Parties below five cannot reserve, one family waited on a busy Saturday until a text announced a table, and one diner found the bench seating tight. Another felt the evening price is expensive for lighter eaters. One reviewer advises skipping lunch to save appetite. Several describe asking for a particular topping, and in one case a staff member overheard a wish for pepperoni and brought out a freshly cooked one.

“I absolutely love this place with my whole h eart. The concept behind it is brilliant! You eat as much as you want, you can take a break and then pick up where you left off. The decoration and layout is really cute. The drinks are also great. The only thing I do hate is they don’t take reservations below 5 people.”

“Moto Pizza is hands down my favourite restaurant. It’s a 10/10 experience every single time we visit. The concept is genius—being able to try such a huge variety of pizzas in one meal means you never have to choose just one topping. The spicy salami with chilli honey is incredible, and the speck with mascarpone is another absolute standout. Every pizza arrives fresh, hot and full of flavour. The cocktails are excellent, the service is always friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is fun and lively without feeling rushed. My only advice to anyone visiting for the first time: skip lunch! You’ll want as much appetite as possible so you can try every topping they bring around. I genuinely couldn’t recommend Moto Pizza more highly.”

“Had a lovely welcoming experience with my young family today at Moto Chelmsford. Managed to fit 5 of us with no booking, pizzas came out quickly and we're amazing!!! To top it off my partner is extremely fussy and was mentioning to me about wanting a pepperoni A staff.member must have overheard and personally brought out a freshly cooked pepperoni pizza! That is brilliant customer service. Well.done guys. We will be back 👍”

“My son's favourite place to eat all you can eat pizza. Great selection, we walked in on a busy Saturday and the staff were great. We couldn't get seated straight away, but luckily there's a pub next door. We only had half a pint then Moto pizza text to say they had a table. Lovely experience and great value for money”

“What a find! Arrived at around 7.30 on a Friday evening knowing we wouldn't be able to book with such a small party size but the team set us up with some drinks in the waiting area. Once seated, the pizzas were flowing and the variety and combinations were fantastic. I'd say 1 in 4 pizzas that came round were vegetarian, plus the odd garlic bread, but every slice hit the spot. The green light concept worked well and when we had said no to a couple of rounds, the staff asked if there was something particular we liked or fancied and then one was rustled up. Can't wait to come back as these individuals clearly have a passion for what they do, they didn't miss a beat”
