Customer Review Summary
Mutton rolls draw the most praise, described as seemingly homemade and full of flavour and spice. Vegetable rolls and vegetable roti are also recalled by one reviewer as the best since a trip to Sri Lanka. Close behind are the biryani, including a prawn version with a generous amount of prawns, and a chicken kottu that a Sri Lankan reviewer highly approves. Others mention fish cutlets, string hoppers with a spicy but flavourful dahl, and a Friday thali ordered the day before that is served cold, which one couple finds refreshing. Portions are called generous. A few find the spice on the strong side, though one reviewer says it can be reduced on request. The woman serving and the owner are described as friendly and helpful. The main complaint is ordering and delivery. One reviewer reports hours of waiting with the estimated time pushed back repeatedly, another had a cancelled order, and a third questioned the cost of plain rice. One family said their orders went unanswered or were declined, so they tried another restaurant instead.

“Cancelled my order after making me wait for ages for no reason. UPDATE: This place thinks its okay to serve Medway rice for £10. I have never seen a standard takeaway with such an extortionate rice menu. What a joke.”

“Always very tasty food ❤️ We order their prawns biryani, as an Indian I love these flavours and portions are generous too. Quantity of prawns is so good. a bit on the Spicer side, but you can always mention to make it less spicy. Their fish cutlets are damn good as well. Very humble and honest people.”
