“We stopped by Cafe Nucleus in Chatham today around lunchtime and had a fantastic experience. I had the burger, which was absolutely delicious, and my partner had the Beef Bourguignon, which they said was excellent. The staff were all friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel right at home. A real highlight was getting the chance to chat with one of the chefs after our meal to thank them personally for the wonderful food. It's always nice to see people who clearly take pride in what they do. We'll definitely be back and would highly recommend Cafe Nucleus to anyone looking for great food, good drinks, and excellent service.”

“Came for drinks today was lovely until one brown haired employee wasn’t attentive with us, not friendly at all. This is my first and last time coming. They need to look at who they are employing! Such a shame!”

“Ordered 1 portion of waffles and 1 portion of pancakes along with 2 flat whites: £38, including 12.5% service charge. Coffees were not exceptional for the price we paid. Waffles tasted like store bought, with small pieces of crystallised sugar as I was cutting through them, very sweet and dry. Sister-in-law had the pancakes and apart from being warm, she didn’t have any compliments, but also said that they didn’t taste fresh. When we asked the waiter if they were made there, she said ‘no’. Both items were listed on the menu under ‘Batter’ section, which makes you think that they are made from batter at the cafe, and not being served ready-made, similar to store bought batter items. The place looks good and there is a nice atmosphere, but I would not return after this experience. When I went to the other Nucleus location in Chatham that closed down a couple of years ago, it was a different experience with the food and drinks, same with the Rochester location. Maybe other items on the menu are better than the ones we chose on our visit.”
