  “One of the best steak experiences I’ve had in a very long time. I had the pleasure of dining at Pasture in Cardiff, and honestly, this place knows beef. The beef carpaccio was an absolute standout — beautifully prepared, incredibly tender, and letting the quality of the beef speak for itself. Simple, elegant, and bloody delicious. But then came the T-bone steak… and this was the moment. Properly cooked, beautifully charred, incredibly juicy, and packed with that deep, beefy flavour you hope for when ordering a great steak. The quality of the meat was outstanding, and the cooking really respected the product. As a chef, I can be pretty critical when it comes to steak, but this one genuinely impressed me. It’s the kind of meal that reminds you why great ingredients, proper technique and good cooking don't need much messing around with. Pasture absolutely nailed it. The carpaccio was fantastic, the T-bone was exceptional, and the whole experience left me already thinking about when I can come back. If you love beef, Pasture is absolutely worth a visit.”

  “Alexander our server was fabulous. Very attentive on our visit and was very friendly. He brought us two dessert plates one saying Happy Birthday and one Happy Retirement. It meant a lot to us both. We had Butterfly Teryaki steak. We then went to Nightshade. What a fab bar. Daniel our server was lovely and Ethan behind the bar made some awesome cocktails. Thanks everyone for making our evening so special and caring enough to go the extra mile re our celebrations. Ethan gave us a shot to celebrate. I would highly recommend Pasture.”

  “Absolutely fantastic service waiters are smiling and in great spirits, really clean and busy place, doesn’t stop service speed, can’t praise waiters and their job quality enough. Food and drinks wooooow worth every penny. I would highly recommend this place, but pre booking would give you better seating but there is plenty outdoor space if looking for enjoying busy streets and beautiful views. You will not regret it. ( by better seats I mean more intimate atmosphere but we still got good table )”

  “Had an amazing meal at Pasture Cardiff. I went for the 700g tomahawk steak and it was absolutely delicious, cooked perfectly, full of flavour and easily one of the best steaks I’ve had. Everything from the food to the service and atmosphere was spot on. The staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the whole place had a really nice feel to it. There was a live DJ which added to it all. My partner Cherie and I had a brilliant evening and genuinely couldn’t fault anything. It felt like a proper special meal from start to finish. Would definitely recommend Pasture if you’re in Cardiff and love a good steak. We’ll absolutely be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

  “Another wonderful meal at Pasture to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary. We had the surf and turf for a change and it did not disappoint. Beautifully cooked steak and monk fish that just melted in the mouth. A big thank you to our server Harri for making it such a special occasion- we really appreciated the chocolate brownies and iced message to celebrate our anniversary. Looking forward to our next visit already.”

  “All the staff are very friendly, the food is superb. Had a lovely meal, squid starter and fillet steak main. Both lovely, the steak was amazing. My server Martin was attentive and chatty even though it was a busy evening. Will definitely visit again.”

  “We came here for our birthday celebration and had such a great experience. Nate was absolutely amazing and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. He took the time to show us all of the different cuts of meat, explaining each one in detail, including the flavours and what made them unique. It really helped us choose and made the whole experience feel much more personal. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was great, and the service was outstanding. We'll definitely be coming back the next time we're in Wales. Highly recommended!”

  “Went here for a date night and we're blown away by the quality of food and service. We had the short rib croquettes and fried squid for starters, both were delicious. Then we had a porterhouse steak to share between us. It was cooked beautifully to our taste. Our favourite part of the meal were the fire cooked carrots. These were incredible. They were topped with seeds and fried chickpeas to add a beautiful contrast in texture and flavour combination. The wine was delightful and Harri did a fantastic job with service. Told the story of the restaurant really well and was attentive without being over bearing. If you want some fantastic food in a great setting, that uses all local ingredients and suppliers, you couldn't go wrong with Pasture.”
