“Enjoyed seeing the exposed, date stamped Victorian girders holding up the glass roof. These probably couldn't be manufactured in Britain today. My wife doesn't like chain pubs and I had to persuade her to enter with a photo of the interior. We both enjoyed the unique ambience. Two light meals with drinks, just over £20. Food quality more than acceptable, staff friendly. The boss of Wetherspoons is a genius for commandeering historic buildings like this.”

“Picturesque location. Good service. Plenty of seating and warm and cosy environment. Stairs to get upstairs, but there is a lift inside. Although to get into the building there is steps so not wheelchair accessible.”
