About Bellissimo Italian Burnley
Bellissimo Italian is an Italian restaurant on Parker Lane in Burnley, set across two floors with a compact ground-floor dining room and an upstairs space for larger groups. The menu moves from breakfast through to dinner, with pasta dishes such as lobster pasta parcels, spag bol and a seafood pasta sitting alongside pizza and plates like langoustine. Starters include a caprese salad of sliced tomatoes and mozzarella, while dessert covers tiramisu, cannoli topped with chopped pistachios and a cheesecake that can be ordered to take home. Italian beers from Sardinia and Sicily and a classic cappuccino round out the list. Walk-ins are welcome, and the upstairs room can be set aside for groups.

Customer Review Summary
Diners return to Bellissimo for the freshly made Italian food, with tiramisu named as the standout across multiple visits, praised alongside high-quality caprese salad, lobster pasta parcels in a tomato sauce, and cannoli with chopped pistachios. Reviewers consistently describe the cooking as fresh and richly flavoured, and many single out the warm, friendly service from the owners and front-of-house team. The gluten-free cheesecake draws particular appreciation from one diner who had avoided the dessert for years. One lunch order was wrong, with a reviewer reporting they received prawns in place of the langoustine they had ordered, a single account of a mix-up rather than a recurring complaint. Overall, reviewers describe a relaxed, family-friendly setting where most intend to return.

“What a little gem. Had the best Spag Bol we've ever had and the pizza was fantastic. Staff lovely and friendly, will definitely return.”

“Had a lovely meal here recently. Everything we ordered was fresh, beautifully presented, and tasted just as good as it looked. The caprese salad was a real highlight, with perfectly ripe tomatoes and a vibrant green drizzle that tied it all together. I also thoroughly enjoyed the seafood dish, which came with those soft, golden pieces of bread perfect for soaking up the delicious sauce. It is rare to find such high quality food, and I cannot wait to come back.”

“Had lunch at bellisimo today. Enjoyed beer from Sardinia and another from Sicily with my lobster fresh pasta parcels , in a tomato sauce and the fennel seeds just gave the rich sauce that something extra. We had a fresh salad of sliced tomatoes and sliced mozzarella cheese. For dessert we tried the award winning tiramisu , it was very enjoyable plus we had canoli with chopped pistachios and cappuccino to finish off. This is high quality freshly made food. Really glad we went. The service is relaxed and friendly , it’s a good place to try. I’m sure you’ll also enjoy it.”

“Fantastic place. Very friendly owners. Food was great. The rich flavour of the tomato sauce was particularly welcome but the tiramisu was the star of the day. Highly recommend.”
