About Porto Lounge
Porto Lounge is a restaurant in Bristol, open daily and serving food and drinks from morning until night. Board games, toys for children and treats for dogs sit alongside the meals, so younger guests and pets are catered for as well. Breakfast includes pancakes with bacon and maple syrup, served with pots of tea and coffee. Later in the day the menu turns to burgers, among them a superhero burger. Vegan choices are on the menu, and the team asks about dietary needs on arrival and prepares the food to suit allergy needs. Those avoiding alcohol can order an alcohol-free coconut and pineapple punch. Orders are placed from the table by QR code.

Customer Review Summary
Breakfast draws the most praise, with reviewers describing a triple stack of pancakes with bacon and maple syrup and an all-day breakfast with a pot of tea or coffee as delicious. Close behind are the hummus, chicken wings and flat bread, a BLT one reviewer calls the best they have eaten, and an aubergine chilli described as tasty. Several point to vegan choices, zero-alcohol beers and an alcohol-free coconut and pineapple punch, and to food catered to allergy needs. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and welcoming, and reviewers like the relaxed atmosphere, the book area and the fact that pets are allowed. The complaints centre on the kitchen. One reviewer found the chips hard, overcooked and warm, and felt the response to their feedback was defensive. Another waited a long time for food, then found the hero burger quite overcooked and the superhero burger not the tastiest. One mentions the price, offset by the portions, and another could not order and pay by QR code at the table. One diner finished a meal only to find the server had cleared away their half-drunk elderflower presse.

“I had a great experience at the lounge on my first visit. I was served by a mixed-race lady who was absolutely lovely, friendly, and polite. The food was great, and all the staff were welcoming. She really left a great impression on me, and because of the excellent service, I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!”

“I had went to this lovely restaurant on Saturday 18th April 2026. It was my first time coming here and the whole atmosphere was nice and the fact it’s family friendly even pets are allowed to go in there was amazing to see. The staff were great and the food was fresh and catered to my allergy needs. I loved the book area and the seating area and there was plenty of room for us to sit around. Definitely will be returning again!”

“Everything was great until the server came to clear my plate away and took my half drunk elderflower presse with him! I was reading so I didn't notice until I went to take a sip 😅”

“The atmosphere & vibe is lovely in this restaurant bar however I was disappointed with my meal….burger was tasty but the chips were hard and overcooked and warm rather than hot… a disappointment when meals out are not cheap these days… I gave feedback to waiting staff but the response was slightly defensive I felt. Don’t ask for feedback if you can’t usefully respond to it and improve your offering for the customer……. Just saying….”
