  “A lovely spot for a drink, snack or full meal. We stopped for a quick chelada and to share 4 tacos - the food came out quickly and was delicious! I could have tried so much on the menu.”

  “I went here recently with my friends and we had an amazing experience. The phot shoes the meat taco sharing board that we had between 3 of us and it was delightful! I loved the sweet potato and the chicken, and you got unlimited refills of the tacos, salsa, and cheese (if you needed it, we didn't because the portion size was very big!) We also go the nachos which were very nice, and I had the spicy marg which was also very yummy. We had booked the chefs counter but they managed to sit us outside at a lower table which is more comfortable, and the heaters and blankets kept us warm when we felt the breeze. The food was rather spicy, but they service was very good at topping up the water jug with cold water as they saw it empty. Would recommend and really want to go back to try the chocolate tacos!!”

  “Cargo Cantina is a casual Mexican restaurant serving good food at reasonable lunch prices. We enjoyed the Superfood Mexican Rice Bowl, burrito, and tortilla chips with salsa. Everything was very tasty, portions were decent, and service was good. Seating: Mainly high-top stools and tables. Other: Located on the upper level and a good option for a casual lunch.”

  “Picture that: we arrived in the busiest night of the year possible: the harbourside Fest. we found two seats, they sat us down. We ordered this beautiful food, and in zero time whatsoever it arrived. Me and my fiance enjoyed it all. I smashed half of the taco on the floor by mistake and I was super sorry with the waitress when she saw that. I wasn’t expecting anything because it was my fault and then what happened? She came with another taco, on the house. Her name is Sasha. Man. Food five star, service five star and atmosphere five star. Total recommended what an incredible gem. Kudos to the waiter with short hair for the smooth experience”

  “Came here for the first time on Thursday and what a lovely place this is. Perfect location near the harbour with seating inside and outside! The weather was especially really nice this day so we sat outside. Both servers were really friendly and nice, service was quick too! The food was really delicious especially the Pork Tacos which I highly recommend. Overall i highly recommend this place if you love Mexican cuisine and will definitely be returning!!”

  “This is our favourite restaurant in Bristol. However, we feel it has gone downhill in some ways over the last few years. It is already an expensive restaurant, yet prices continue to rise, which we notice on every visit, and is the reason why we now only come a couple of times a year. We also feel the service isn't quite as strong as it used to be. On our recent visit, we ordered nachos explicitly as a starter and tacos as mains, but our mains arrived halfway through our starter. As it's a cramped restaurant (they've added more tables recently), we struggled to squeeze everything on our table, and by the time we finished the nachos, the tacos had gone cold. There were a couple other things like no one checked in on us or asked if we wanted to order second drinks. Also, my partner wanted to treat me to this meal, but the server said the total out loud and showed it to both of us, which felt a little in poor style. Lastly, as of the last year or so, guacamole is no longer included on the nachos and has actually been removed from all menu items, which is a real shame!”

  “Had a great evening here! Delicious food and good service. The atmosphere is fun, good for a group setting. We ordered the sharing plates and the amount of food was very generous. Will be returning for sure.”

  “The food here is generally quite good. The pickled eggs for instance, were excellent. An excellent way to get the appetite going (though be warned: the accompanying sauce is spicy). The tacos I was less impressed by. I loved the greens and freshness on the ceviche tostada, but could taste that the trout was ‘t super fresh. The birria tacos was good: the consume excellent. I found it rather heavy for my taste though. The pickled onions and carrots were a lovely treat at the end.”

  “Nachos tastes amazing🤩the sauces balance out perfectly with the taste of sweet and spicy worth the price! Service is excellent too they greet us very nice~sitting outside with the fire feels really warm and cozy🔥I like the music as well.”
