Customer Review Summary
Generous portions draw the most praise, with reviewers pointing to a special chow mein loaded with chicken, king prawns and beef, a satay with thick sauce, salt and pepper squid, and nicely fried tofu. Several call the food fast and tasty, and one says the chicken balls are delicious. Service splits the reviews sharply. A few praise lovely staff, while others describe a rude woman at the front and a part-owner who walked away when a customer reported receiving the wrong order. The noodles draw the sharpest food complaints: a Singapore noodle that tasted like spaghetti and sauce with undercooked pork, a duck chow mein described as dry with little vegetable, and another reviewer calling a dish pure sugar and MSG. One reviewer was charged extra for more vegetables and for chopsticks, and another had to withdraw cash before ordering. One reviewer mentions a dodgy stomach the next day but would still reorder. Another counted only four chicken balls in an order of five.

“Lovely food and generous portions of meat and vegetables. I did have a bit of a dodgy stomach the next day, but it won’t stop me ordering again.”

“Ordered chicken balls and duck chow mein, took about 15-20 minutes, only took cash. the chow mein is dry has little flavour and has little to no veg in it. Chicken balls are delicious but definitely on the smaller side I also only received 4 balls when I ordered 5 😕”

“A classic takeaway spot, food is ready fast, always tasty, and man that price point!”

“The food was ok... i ordered a chicken curry and egg fried rice, cant hate on the rice it wasnt as bland as other places however i hate the texture of the curry i could not finish it because of how bad it was. the service was terrible, the lady at the front was rude, clearly she hates what she does. she was the one that made me take a look at their reviews to see if anyone has had the same experience. On top of that i had to first go take money out of a cash machine after a long shift just to get some food. For anyone who says they dont deliver, youre somewhat correct, they only deliver to some customers privately, the ones they like, which is just not right in my opinion.”

“Pure sugar and msg, no vegetables, no flavour. I asked for extra vegetables was 50p. I wanted chopsticks another 50p very weird and expensive tbh. Don't accept card only cash. They're asking a lot and giving nothing. I won't go back.”
