“Terrible portion sizes. I ordered a 4 in 1 which costs more therefore would expect a bigger portion, not the same portion and container you get for a 3 in 1. Paid more for the same amount of food.”

“Don't bother using this place, food was cold, chow mein noodles were burnt. Called up to complain didn't even offer an apology and offered credit which I refused and when I got my refund it wasn't for the full amount . Really disappointed with how it was handled and they have lost a long time customer”

“This is my go to Chinese takeaway. However not sure if they have changed staff but I ordered Chicken Curry and boiled rice. It wasn't the same it looked like a defrosted frozen meal heated up in a microwave. For me it wasn't worth the money I paid. Very Disappointed.”

“have used 3 times in last few months. we have had the share box which has been excellent. 20quid and enough for 2 of us with leftovers. mixture of s+p chips, chicken, samosas, Ribs, chicken balls, chicken wings, curry sauce, crispy chicken. the box was filled to rim all cooked and tasted good, we called in and ordered, so unable to comment on delivery. only criticism would be that the curry sauce was very very thick. you could stand forkbup in it .. poured into jug and kept adding boiling water until sorted so ended up with more sauce. Shop looks clean , staff are friendly. will definitely use again.”

“We have used Jade Palace for quite a few years and it has been one of our favourites takeaways. The last few orders have been quite average but tonight my husband decided to pop in and order to take away. I dished it up and was so disappointed. The food was tepid and the ribs were stone cold. Time to change our takeaway”

“The food is pretty standard, nothing exceptional (why is it so hard to get Crispy Chilli Beef that is actually crispy??) Sadly, their prices seem to go up on a weekly basis. For those prices, I could dine out in style, but too expensive for a basic Chinese food takeaway.”

“EDIT TO THE BELOW: My wife ended up with food poisoning. Avoid at all costs. How this place has any good reviews is beyond me. Ordered a special fried rice box with meat, king prawns, and vegetables. The meat was bad, there were only two tiny prawns, the rice was somehow awful and the rest of the box was vegetables, all of which was tasteless. My wife had a similar dish and it was also terrible. I couldn't even finish my main, if it weren't for the prawn toast I also ordered I'd have ended up with nothing. Avoid.”
