About The Roastery
The Roastery is a small cafe in Brentford, at 61 Kew Bridge Rd, set in the Kew Bridge train station building that dates from 1849. Its coffee comes from a local roaster with 30 years in the trade, and the drinks list includes a Flat White, along with teas and freshly squeezed juices. The 67-item menu runs to jacket potatoes served with salad and avocado baps, and sweet treats sit alongside each drink. Gluten free, vegan and lactose intolerant requirements are all catered for. Food is brought to the table, and the cafe handles an express lunch or brunch as readily as coffee to go before a train. Dogs are welcome.

Customer Review Summary
Friendly, welcoming staff are the most frequent praise, with reviewers describing fast service, a clean and tidy room and spotless toilets. Several call the coffee good or delicious and one singles out a rich, smooth hot chocolate, though another calls the coffee horrible and worse than the big chains. Jacket potatoes with salad and avocado baps are liked for express lunches. Food draws more mixed reactions. One reviewer found poached eggs on toast with rocket bland and unseasoned, and a smoothie in a plastic cup merely sweet. Another found the chicken club bread soggy, a Sunday lunchtime visitor reported the kitchen had run out of most ingredients, and one notes orders sometimes get delayed. Staff still tried to accommodate, and one diner was given a half size salad for half the price and a takeaway container for the unfinished sandwich.

“I absolutely love coming to Roastery Kew Bridge! The atmosphere is always so warm, friendly and welcoming — the staff are genuinely lovely and the service is consistently excellent. I always feel very comfortable and at home here, which makes it such a nice place to come back to. The quality of the coffee and food is excellent, and I also really appreciate how clean and well looked after everything is. The toilets are always spotless too, which is honestly quite refreshing, as cleanliness in many cafés and public places can sometimes leave a lot to be desired. Here, you can really see that attention is paid to the little details and that the whole place is genuinely cared for. Such a lovely local café with a wonderful atmosphere, great quality and genuinely friendly people. Definitely one of my favourite places in the area. Highly recommend! A special thank you to the whole team for always being so kind, friendly and welcoming. Your lovely attitude and excellent service really make a difference and create such a warm atmosphere. Thank you for making every visit such a pleasant one!”

“Nice little spot on the main road next to the station, good ambience and decent prices. Coffee was good and food was tasty and good portion size for the cost. They even bring everything to where you decide to sit and even let me have a half size portion of salad for the half the price as well. As well as takeaway the sandwich when I couldn't finish it, helpful and friendly staff :)”
