About Des N Pardes Restaurant Bradford
Des N Pardes Restaurant Bradford opens each day with a desi and Lahori breakfast, served at this halal restaurant on Wilton St in Bradford. Halwa puri anchors the morning, and nihari rewards an early arrival, since it can run out by late morning. The wider menu carries 71 dishes, among them a mixed grill of chicken tikka, seekh kebabs, fish and lamb chops, with a free salad brought alongside the curries. Payment is cash only, so cards are not accepted. Reservations are recommended, and the kitchen also packs orders for eating off site. High chairs make the room workable for families with young children. Parking sits across from the restaurant, which helps, as spaces are otherwise hard to find nearby.

Customer Review Summary
The desi breakfast draws the most attention, with halwa puri singled out repeatedly: puri described as soft, light and not oily, channa one diner could not stop eating, and halwa another said tasted like their grandma's. The chai and desi tea come up nearly as often, one reviewer saying it recalled gatherings back at their countryside home. Close behind sit the lamb dishes, two describing tender lamb masala with portions they found just right and a fresh complimentary salad, while others praise the lamb butt karahi and the mixed grill of chicken tikka, seekh kebabs, fish and lamb chops. Several mention friendly owners and staff and food arriving quickly and piping hot, and one notes parking is otherwise hard to find nearby. The clearest recurring gripe is cash only, which one reviewer would rather see alongside card payments, and that same visit turned up no nihari, finished by late morning after a large party cleared it. One dissenting diner regretted the trip, finding the much praised butt karahi not great and naming another local restaurant they preferred.

“A spontaneous desi breakfast but how exquisite! Took my mum for a desi breakfast and it was magnificent. Food was clean, fresh and served in a great time. Loved the comprehensive but key options for the desi breakfast. We got the murgh channa, channa halwa puri, paratha omelette and desi tea. Every single item was made with care and attention and flavours absolutely phenomenal 👏. The owners were so caring and respectful my mum felt at ease. But the food, wow! Deep and flavoursome. The puri was still soft and light, not oily at all. The channa...I couldn't stop eating. When I tasted the halwa, I said to mum it tastes like my grandma's!! Its a great family environment, great food, great service. Cash only FYI, but that's minor.”

“I ordered lamb masala and garlic coriander nann. The food was amazing. The lamb was tender and the sauce was delicious. The portion was good too. Free salad was offered. I did not have to wait long for the dish to be served. The lamb masala met all my expection of a good curry. The lady was friendly and helpful. Will visit again and order the same dish. High recommend. 5 out of 5.”

How this listing is sourced
- Where the data comes from
- Name, address, hours, contact details, amenities, ratings and review counts come from the business's publicly available profile data — not from the owner and not from paid submissions.
- How it stays current
- Listings are re-checked in batches against their public profile, and anything reported as wrong is corrected at the source rather than patched on the page.
- How it is ranked
- Placement is never sold. Every business on the page is ordered and compared using the same public signals, so an owner cannot pay to move up.
