  “Called for meals at lunchtime today good and varied menu all at extremely reasonable prices. Fish & Chips plus lasagne. Whilst the fish meals were fine unfortunately the lasagne was somewhat overdone and a little dry. We were struck however by the excellent and courteous service of the staff and in particular chap named Jeremiah who greeted and tended to our table throughout. He noted our concern regarding the lasagne and apologised politely which was appreciated.”

  “Went to bar to order and use BLC discount & told to order from app which was impossible as website appears to block ability to use codes. Went back to bar and very nice lady scanned the code at the bar and took my order (this whole process taking 20 mins before actually being able to order food 🤷‍♀️) food came, pigs in blankets clearly microwaved to death, could not cut or bite and inedible & yorkie wrap tough and difficult to cut. On finishing waited 20 mins and had to shout a member of staff to remove plates who to be fair was not of a friendly approach, but apart from the odd person a few of the staff were pretty much the same. Today’s experience not as good as normal, not sure what has happened but suggest identifying and rectify asap before losing customers. Really disappointed today 🙄”

  “We have visited Pine Tree Farm many times, and every visit has been a great experience. The food has always been lovely, with a wide choice on the menu to suit all tastes. The carvery is particularly good, offering an excellent selection of meats and vegetables, all cooked and presented beautifully. We have also had the pleasure of being served by Louise on our last few visits. She is always friendly, professional, and welcoming, with a lovely smile that makes you feel valued as a customer. Her excellent service has made our visits even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend Pine Tree Farm and look forward to returning again soon.”

  “Routinely come here with family as this is our favourite local eatery. Amazing food, The turkey was lovely and the gravy is always top tier. (Better than a toby) The staff were really friendly and nice. And accommodating helping us move seats and as usual the meal was lovely we are always torn between the main menu and the carvery! Will be back again in a couple of weeks!”

  “Popped in for a pint of San Miguel and had a lovely time. The pub was tidy and had a really pleasant, homely feel to it. Music was playing quietly in the background which added nicely to the atmosphere without being too loud. The staff were polite and welcoming as well. All in all, a nice spot for a relaxed pint!”

  “We celebrated my cousins 60th birthday 🎂 yesterday, all cousins together ❤️ majority of us had the beautiful carvery & the rest had soup the lasagne. Definitely recommend it 👌”

  “I've approached my complaint with GK with an air to offering constructive feedback, below is a brief explanation of what happened. I feel with the state of pubs everywhere, that we need to look after them if we want them to still be around to look after us. I have spoken at length with the manager, he call me. We spoke about improving processes to get the best out of this for everyone. I feel it was time well spent and they've taken steps to improve. Update. I've had two very poor meals within a three week period, both inedible. So dropped the rating I'd previously given. I will publish the photos ( I've reconsided) but feel it's only fair to give them chance to respond. Customer service have contacted me, update soon as I hear back from them. I've eaten here on several occasions. The food is well presented and served with care. Sunday roasts are very good. The menu selectable meals are average. I had a steak, one of the more expensive choices. It was around 75% fat. Staff were embarrassed when I showed it to them. The manager popped over to sort it out and as expected offered a refund. I opted for a burger as I was still hungry. Again I'll mention how embarrassing it was for the staff as they can only serve what's sent to their pub. The buyer might want to put a bit of effort in. Beers, yum. Love their own IPA. It's such a good beer served constantly well. Chicken tonight. 🙂”

  “We came here for the Carvery 3 course menu for Christmas. I only took a picture of the cake unfortunately. For starters I had the chicken Yorkshire pudding which was actually quite good. The Yorkshire could have been better, it was a bit tougher than you would expect, but the flavours were decent. Carvery was good, no complaints there at all, as you would expect from a decent pub carvery. I particularly liked that they had a good selection of condiments on offer and 2 types of gravy (normal and onion). The cake was probably the worst part of the meal, it was a bit dry so the cream helped. I think it just being massive is a reason people might go for it. The other diners with us had the festive sorbet which was really lovely. Can't fault the service, really attentive and speedy too.”
