  “First time trying SpudBros and loved it! Got the garlic chilli chicken with raita. Definitely would recommend. Good quality ingredients. Was in a petrol station, which is not a problem but is why I gave 4 stars for atmosphere.”

  “The Spud Bros have been taking over TikTok and introducing the world to the jacket potato. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about, so I made a special trip to Blackburn to check out their Spud Bros Express location here. For those heading here, set your sat nav to “Frontier Park Services”, and their outlet is located inside the main building here. The pricing is on the higher side, but still reasonable, of course it’s more than I’d pay at Subway, which also has a kiosk within the building, but the portion size is larger, and the packaging quality is better, which I think justifies the premium. There is a QR code available where you can scan for allergen information at the counter, although it didn’t make much sense to me, as several potatoes are listed as containing gluten, including the Garlic Chilli Chicken Spud when the individual Garlic Chilli Chicken is listed as not containing, I presume this is down to the crispy onions or something else, but I do feel this should be made clearer for peace of mind for patrons. I’ve visited here twice now, and on both occasions I’ve kept it simple and gone for a jacket potato with tuna and cheese. On my first visit, the staff members weren’t proactively asking what I wanted; they didn’t seem interested in me or getting my potato right at all. I had to ask them multiple times to add butter, and they didn’t season the potatoes. That being said, the potato, cheese and tuna were all pretty good, and the portion size of the fillings was generous; my only issue was that the melted butter made it really wet and greasy; I much prefer the solid butter which they don’t use here. On my second visit, I went for the garlic butter, which had so much more flavour, and I enjoyed it more. The staff member on this visit actually proactively asked questions, added seasonings and seemed happy to be there and had good knowledge of the menu. I do feel the build quality could have been better, though, as they just added a huge scoop of tuna into the corner, and ignored the rest of the potato. All in all, Spud Bros Express in Blackburn serves a pretty decent jacket potato, and I will be adding this place to my rotational dining out list of places I plan to visit in the future, although inconsistencies between staff members would be an immediate improvement and should be a focus of training going forward.”

  “I had such a great experience at Subdbros Express thanks to Max! He made a lovely jacket potato that was fresh, tasty and prepared perfectly. On top of that his customer service was excellent , really friendly, welcoming and attentive throughout. You can tell he genuinely cares about customers having a good experience. Amazing food and fantastic service Max is a real credit to the team. Highly recommend!”

  “Came in today with my friend as an early birthday treat for my birthday. When we came in there was no queue. We have ordered a garlic chicken spud. The portion size is a good size and can actually fill you up. The potato was piping hot and fresh. They ran out of the garlic chicken so the member of staff quickly went and heated a fresh batch for us. Staff was really friendly and polite. Don’t understand all these negative comments as the company is doing their best for everyone , giving away free food for those who can’t afford it.”

  “Been wanting to try Spudbros for over a year and on my way back from Glasgow to Oxford last night I decided to stop and give it a shot and my goodness it didn’t disappoint! When these guys say and claim “the greatest spuds on earth” that is not an understatement, the best jacket potato I’ve had in my life! 🔥 I went for the tram classic, garlic butter with cheese and beans and crispy onions and tram sauce. And let me tell you that tram sauce is truly sensational, nothing like it to be honest 🫡 The staff that were there last night were amazing and very welcoming and friendly and the location is fantastic with parking! Can’t recommend it enough and I will be back for sure 🤝 Thank you spud bros, true pleasure! Hats off to you 🫡”

  “Great addition to blackburn, food was nice, bit expensive for what it is, the only reason dropped one star was the potatoes was a bit hard and the chicken was salty, i know you guys just opened so i will put it down to being a learning mistake, i will be back once the weather is better, loved the crispy onions”

  “After reading the reviews I'm shocked! First of all the wait times will vary spud bros is new to blackburn and of course will always generate massive queues! We waiting 15 mins tops staff were absolutely fab with my girls wishing my youngest a happy birthday (reason for visit) prices are decent and portion sizes were good! Im a foodie and struggled to finish! Food was piping hot and we will definitely be going again.”

  “Absolutely amazing food from SpudBros! The loaded spuds are cooked perfectly and taste fresh, hot and full of flavour. Portions are very generous and the toppings are proper quality really filling and great value for money. Service was quick and smooth, and the staff were friendly, polite and welcoming. The place was clean and well looked after too. Definitely one of the best spots for a loaded jacket potato highly recommend and I’ll 100% be coming back again.”

  “Ignore the bad reviews. The portions are a good size to make sure your full, the quality of the food it great. Piping hot when ordered, the queue was big but as expected as it’s only just been opened. I would definitely reccomend coming here around £8-11 per spud depending on what you get. Definitely worth waiting for :)”
