  “Food was amazing. We had 2 courses. The chicken bags were so tasty. As was the mushroom rolls and calamari. Really enjoyed the main. Beef brisket curry was so tasty. The garlic and pepper king prawns and chicken dishes were delicious. Staff were very friendly. And gave great advice and recommendations regarding food and drinks. Tried the different cocktails which were the best. Big shout out to Pinn, John and Enoch. We will definately return. Thank you for such a great experience.”

  “I had a lovely time at this restaurant! The food was absolutely amazing, and everything was cooked perfectly. The staff were so kind, welcoming, and attentive, which made the experience even better. The drinks were great, reasonably priced, and there was a good selection to choose from. Overall, the prices were excellent for the quality of the food and service. I would definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to come back”

  “Honestly I was expecting to be a little underwhelming given a lot of places in town at the moment are all style and no substance but I was completely blown away by the authentic Thai flavours. I asked what was recommended and pretty much everything on the menu sounded great, the truly authentic dishes like green curry were highly commended so we made the most of it. We opted for the set menu and had a selection of chicken wings and prawns to start. The batter on the chicken wings was crisp and the prawns were delicious and still slightly soft. For mains I opted for the Thai green curry and it was a wonderful balance of light coconut flavour, with aubergine and green beans cooked so they still had a bit of bite to them. The chicken was beautifully tended and the jasmine rice complimented it all. My friend opted for the pad Thai, which had a beautiful balance of tamarind sauce. The service was impeccable, a really big thank you to the staff who really went above and beyond. I had a small fly land in my wine and the team immediately brought a new one for me. I had also asked for them to simply wish my friend a happy birthday and they brought out a small brownie slice which she was completely overwhelmed with. I usually ask for service charges to be removed but this was worth it. Amazing food, fabulous service and a wonderful way to complete the birthday celebrations. We will very much return.”

  “If you're looking for incredibly delicious Thai food, look no further! I recently visited this restaurant and had an absolutely wonderful dining experience from start to finish. For our meal, we ordered the Sticky Wings and the Prawn Pad Thai, and both dishes were outstanding. The Sticky Wings were cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and coated in a mouthwatering sweet and savory glaze that had us wanting more. The Prawn Pad Thai was simply phenomenal. The noodles had the perfect texture, beautifully balanced with the classic tangy, sweet, and nutty flavors you expect from a great Pad Thai. The prawns were incredibly fresh, flavorful, and generous in portion. Everything was just so delicious! However, what truly elevated our meal was the exceptional service. I want to give a special shoutout to our waitress, Pinn. She was warm, highly attentive, and went completely out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. Her friendly demeanor made us feel incredibly welcome, and it’s rare to find such genuine, top-tier hospitality these days. Overall, this is a fantastic spot with amazing food and even better staff. I highly recommend checking this place out, and I will definitely be returning soon. Thank you, Pinn, and the kitchen team for making our meal so memorable!”

  “Came to Sabai Sabai Birmingham this evening to celebrate our 2‑year anniversary and left so let down. We ordered our usual Tomahawk steak medium, but: • Large sections were well done • Full of tough gristle when we pointed it out we were told it was fat, but it definitely wasn’t • Barely any sear, pale and soggy, honestly looked and tasted like boiled steak • Meat itself tasted off • The accompanying dips also didn’t taste right The rest of the food was okay and our server was lovely and tried her best, but nothing could fix how bad the steak was. We eat out 2–3 times a week and have had this steak here many times perfectly – we also visited the Solihull branch recently and it was excellent. Tonight at Birmingham was night and day, nowhere near the standard we expect. Disappointed considering we spent £135 and the steak was £65 alone Really sad our anniversary meal turned out like this.”

  “Really good food, I love the Thai red curry with egg fried rice so so good! The starter is a little over priced for what you get, most be like bite size if you share. The pad Thai is good last time I had it, it was nicer but still good! The pudding 🤌🤌 Good service, smiley and polite”

  “Excellent service and delicious food…great selection for vegetarians, Thai arancini and mushroom and truffle spring rolls were 🤌🏽 but would have liked more juice/sauce with my garlic pepper wok main dish but still everything was extremely authentic and yummy.”

  “Sabai Sabai Thai Restaurant in Birmingham was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was really good — full of flavour, beautifully cooked, and genuinely delicious across the table. We were a large party, which can sometimes be challenging, but the service was excellent throughout. The staff were really friendly, welcoming, and handled everything smoothly, making us feel relaxed and well looked after. The restaurant itself was very clean, comfortable, and had a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. You could tell a lot of care goes into both the food and the overall experience. We had such a great time that we would definitely come back, and it’s a place we’d happily recommend to anyone looking for great Thai food in Birmingham.”
