  “Have tried others but this is the best Asian halal food I've had in brum. Had a selection of noodles, rice bowls, sushi and loaded fries. All the food was full of flavour and cooked very well. The kids finished everything so have their seal of approval. Nice walk in St Paul's square afterwards 👌”

  “We visited Rayu Pan Asian, a fantastic Asian fusion restaurant, for my son’s birthday on February 26th because he really wanted to try it out, and it turned out to be an amazing choice. Street parking around here can be a bit challenging with the pay and display system, but luckily we managed to grab a space right next to the establishment. As soon as we arrived, a gentleman gave us a warm welcome and seated us at a lovely table right next to the window. We ordered a feast including the Bai Chicka, katsu curry rice, Basil chili noodles, Soba noodles, Seaweed salad, Chicken Katsu fries, K Town beef fries, and a chicken katsu roll. To wash it all down, we enjoyed a great selection of drinks: Mango fruit tea, Passion Fruit tea, classic vanilla milk tea, Karma cola, and bottled water. Every single dish was fresh, incredibly delicious, and the kids absolutely loved it. The total bill came to around £109, which felt like excellent value for the amount of fresh food we received. They are open daily from 17:00 to 22:30, making it the perfect spot for an evening treat. It was a wonderful birthday celebration, and we will definitely be back! Five stars!”

  “Everything about this place simply blew me away. I came in from the US, where the halal Asian options are somewhat limited, and I came in with high expectations, which were easily met. The baos, the sushi, the rice and loaded fries all impressed me very much.”

  “Staying in the Jewellery Quarter, and wanted somewhere close to our hotel so we didn't need to go too far. This caught our eye and booking a table was very simple. The menu was laid out and easy to navigate, all prices were displayed with no hidden extras. Not knowing portion sizes and expecting meager helpings for the pricing, we added some extras and they were not needed! The sushi was great. The Teriyaki rice bowl with Sirloin beef was very rich and had a lot of flavour. I was stuffed. My husband had the K town Bao and the Sigon Sizzler fries with beef. He enjoyed them immensely, and struggled with his portion. Staff were friendly and waiting time wasn't long at all. It's small with a warm atmosphere. We were also given fortune cookies upon leaving which was a nice touch. I definitely want to try more items from the menu when we return.”

  “This restaurant is amazing! Me and my husband had such a lovely time. The food is halal and they have a prayer area as well, they gave dates and water when it was iftar time, it wasn't busy at all so they turned the music off when we requested. The service was fantastic, the staff were so kind and receptive and checked multiple times that everything was okay, and met any and all requests we had. The food itself was delicious, my husband got the beef sirloin chow mein which he really liked. Their egg fried rice is the best I've had, it was so soft but crispy and the sauce and vegetables in it were perfect. The tenders were juicy and succulent and the sauce was amazing - we tried the sticky chilli, and korean BBQ sauces for the tenders. Both were nice but the sticky chilli was delicious. Bao bun was good too but a bit small for the price and the bun could be softer. The pina colada mocktail was really tasty, we got the strawberry mocktail as well which was a bit tangy for us but still nice. Portion sizes were great! Just the tenders should be bigger pieces for the price, though. We also got the banana and Nutella rolls which felt like a spring roll/samosa as a dessert but was actually quite nice lol. The vibe is nice and cosy especially when they turn on the more ambient lighting in the evening. Would love to come again 😊🐔 Also - they did give wooden cutlery at first, which seems to be off putting to others in the reviews, but you can just ask for metal cutlery and they very kindly and quickly provided us with that. There is paid street parking on Newhall Street just outside, between £3-5 for between 2-3 hours.”

  “Amazingly flavourful food, the staff were so lovely and accommodating. Had four different noodle dishes and all were splendid and so fresh. Food came quick and portions were a good size with very fair pricing. No sneaky service charges added which was a lovely surprise. Would definitely go again. Thank you!”
