  “The best Chinese ever! I haven’t lived in Castle Bromwich for a while but no other Chinese compares to this. The customer service, the food quality/taste, the freshness. Even after a 45min drive back home it was still hot and fresh. The red curry is a must, along with crispy chilli beef and salt and chilli chicken. The egg fried rice is delicious even on its own! Nothing will ever beat a Golden Bird. 11 out of 10!”

  “Ordered the beef curry and special house chow mein. The beef curry was ok meat content was good and not overloaded with onions which was a welcome change. Curry sauce was nice 👌🏻 Not over happy with the special house chow main. Which mainly contained chicken (which isn’t stated so is misleading) if it’s supposed to be mixed meat incl prawn then it should be more mixed n more evenly mixed. Not around 70% chicken as that’s a bit of con and trying to save money which it shouldn’t be about.!”

  “Beef curry, chips and prawn crackers collected last night as pretty standard order had many times but this time it resulted in severe stomach ache and all day going to the bathroom. The beef had a pale look and smelt off and the crackers didn’t taste like they usually do but then I was given the order in less than 5 mins totally off putting and I was asked to return a sample a day later instead of trusting what I’ve said, when I said no previous issues. Disappointing so will not use again.”

  “Asked for a mild curry got a plate of water as that's how they make it milder apparently, I said if you don't do a mild curry just say that do not add a cup of water, no refund just sorry we will make a note, used to be a great Chinese last few times been terrible I won't order again, sorry sorry”

  “I have ordered from this Chinese previously and never had any issues. I went to the Chinese last night and the food I received was horrendous to say the least. The food looked and smelled uneatable. I had special curry which came with uncooked meat that looked as if it had been there for ages. I ordered chicken balls which were definitely re-fried and the meat inside was slimy. The chips were re-fired and hard. Also the rice they came was clumpy, hard and had been there sat for a while too. I will no longer be going to this Chinese and wouldn't suggest anyone else does either.”

  “Waited an hour charged £21.80 bbq chicken wings burnt and very dry curry was warm crispy seaweed was very very sweet I didn’t order prawn crackers as we usually get them free but didn’t this time when I called up they said we didnt charge you delivery receipts don’t lie you charged me £3.30😂😂 will be going else where 😝”

  “The first time I've used the golden bird, only because I drove past last week and the place was packed with people collecting their takeaways, in my personal opinion it's the tastiest around. I ordered special fried rice and was presented with two pot's, one full of chicken, pork beef and prawns in a tasty sauce. I've had many meals from Chinese takeaways in my time but I honestly believe I've never tasted so many different flavours, will definitely be ordering again very very soon.”

  “I've been ordering from Golden Bird for more than 15 years and I can honestly say I'm satisfied with their service. The portions are more than enough, the food is flavoursome and fresh, and the staff are ok too. Sometimes all you need is a meal prepared by someone else when you've had a 13 hour shift at work! I usually order the same thing most times, but I have tried other dishes and have always been happy with the quality of my food. Thanks Golden Bird for your continued service!”
