  “Just had a takeaway from here after reading the reviews and I can honestly say it was vile, a beef curry was tasteless and cold, chicken chowmein mushy and cold, also with no flavour, spare ribs were awful too, I have yet to find a nice Chinese takeaway in B23, this is another awful one to avoid. £30 in the bin.”

  “This is our 'go to' East Asian takeaway on Slade Road and in Erdington. Family run business that are kind & offer delicious vegan alternatives. We have been going here for over 10 years.”

  “me and my mate are working away in Birmingham and fancied a chinese after a quick Google we found golden wok. wow what a chinese very friendly but the food is amazing special curry fried rice 10/10 chicken chow mean and a portion of ribs 10/10. 5 star rating everytime looking forward to my next meal next week. thankyou golden wok you did not disappoint”

  “I phoned up so I could go and collect the food was piping hot and I must say the curry sauce was out of this world it had a lovely bit of a kick to it absolutely beautiful will definitely be ordering again. Ps please keep spicing up the curry sauce it's a 1000 times better than it used to be”

  “Brilliant place, brilliant food and stays warm after my 20 mins walk back to my house. I always order prawn noodles and rice spring rolls and prawn crackers and never had an issue with my food, I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants brilliant food at decent prices”

  “As I Muslim it's a non halal restaurant but I order for my Chinese friend he came from London..Excellent food. Menu is extensive and seasonal to a particularly high standard. Definitely fine grt food. It's not expensive but worth it and they do different deals on different nights so it’s worth checking them. Highly recommended.Staff is very humble as it's goes to the boss how he behave with the staff..”

  “Sometimes the food is very good and other times the food does not taste fresh. Chowmein should always be fresh but most of the time they are not. Cutting up the noodles will not hide the fact that the noodles could have been frozen or from the day before! I hope not any longer?! We do notice when you guys give us food thats not fresh. Otherwise wise the customer service is good and delivery service great 👌.”
