Customer Review Summary
Most praise centers on a warm welcome, especially for dogs. Several reviewers describe staff who made their dog feel included, one mentioning the puppuccino, and others call the staff friendly and kind, with a really nice vibe. Food that reviewers enjoyed includes the chicken burger with a glass of wine, the chocolate shake, a fruit smoothie and the pancakes with fruit, and one calls it the best place on Billericay High Street for breakfast. Close behind, the kitchen draws the sharpest complaints, mostly about breakfast. Reviewers describe a fry up with soggy toast and beans that tasted reheated, poached eggs and bread arriving separately and late, and pancakes that were rather dry with little fruit variety. Several call it expensive for the quality. Another reviewer waited a long time for takeaway pizzas because the order was taken before the menu switched over, and was not told. One diner on a steak frites order learned only after finishing that thicker chips had replaced skinny fries, and the manager then took three drinks off the bill.

“Popped in on my own for a quick lunch, and what a lovely little find! The food, service and staff were all fantastic, and they were so attentive to both me and my little dog! 🐶❤️ My little companion can highly recommend the puppuccino, while I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken burger and a cheeky glass of wine! 🍷🍔 Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this little gem in Billericay. Well done, Queenies! We will definitely be back! ⭐️”

“⭐☆☆☆☆ Very disappointing and overpriced breakfast. The poached eggs were missing from the main breakfast and only arrived later, after the bread and butter had also been forgotten and brought out separately. The bacon, sausage, beans and tomatoes all tasted reheated and not freshly cooked — the beans even had a skin on the sauce, which says it all. The kitchen experience wasn’t helped by poor hygiene impressions, including the chef smelling of BO. For the price, I expected a fresh cooked breakfast, not a reheated plate of disappointment. One star. Only had a breakfast for two people charged for the whole family...”
