About The Nightingale
On Nightingale Place in Bicester, The Nightingale is a British pub and bar with a roomy beer garden and space for groups inside. Roast dinners sit at the heart of the menu, served with vegetables, gravy and yorkshire puddings, and Stowford Press is poured on tap. A weekly quiz night pulls a crowd, and the pub welcomes dogs and motorhome stopovers. Orders can be placed online through the website for those who would rather eat at home, and the team dresses the place for the seasons.

“The Nightingale is a great family-friendly pub with a big beer garden and lots of outdoor seating which is perfect in summer. Inside it’s really cozy with warm lighting and plenty of space for groups. We had the roast and it was excellent — generous portions, good veg, gravy and yorkshire puddings. Staff were friendly and attentive. They do seasonal decorations too which makes it nice at Christmas. Good food, good atmosphere and great value. Would definitely recommend.”

“They didn't have any vegan burgers which removed two of the three meals on they menu that I would eat. Other than that, the service was prompt and friendly and I could order through their web site. Also, they had Stowford Press on tap which is always welcome.”
