Customer Review Summary

Reviewers most often return to how authentic the Thai cooking tastes, with several comparing it to meals eaten in Bangkok or to home cooking. Boat noodles are the most named dish, alongside a Tom Yum noodle with squid, pad Thai, fried squid, stir fry, crying tiger beef and papaya salad. One reviewer calls the broths well seasoned and the beef tender. Portions are described as generous and service as fast and friendly, with the owner and staff singled out for kindness. The criticism is specific. One diner found the pad Thai small and sweet like ketchup, the Tom Yum Goong only spicy with little seafood, and the rice not true jasmine. That diner also says many menu items and window photos were unavailable. Another says the green curry lacks traditional vegetables such as pea eggplants and Thai eggplants, and a third wanted more heat. When one table received the wrong dish, the waiter apologised and the correct food arrived quickly.

“The rice is definitely not Thai jasmine rice. It tastes bad. The waiter is not familiar with the menu. The food is of small portion. Such as the phad Thai. It smaller than one palm. In addition, lot of dishes listed in the menu are not available. The phad thai is not tasty either. It tastes sweet with ketchup. Instead of soybean sauce. This is the worst phad Thai I have ever tried. It’s even worse than Thai fast food restaurants or supermarkets. The two customers sit next to us even did not finish their meals before left. The Tom Yum Goong is tasted only spicy. Not sour not taste like Thai Tom Yum Goong. Very little seafood in it. This restaurant is definitely not worth more than 3 stars. The meals indicate in the photo paste on the restaurant window are mostly unavailable. The photos post in Google are mostly unavailable. Don't be fooled by the photos on Google or in the window. The serviette is so small. Worse quality but double price. Flee away”

“I been going to this place for a couple times, love the food and the meal deal they had on, everything is delicious, but today unfortunately I found a piece of metal (I assume from the scrubber) in my Padthai unfortunately.”

“"The Thai food here is delicious and authentic in taste, but the Green Curry is only authentic in flavor. The vegetables used are not the traditional ones found in authentic Thai Green Curry—it seems they cannot source ingredients like pea eggplants (มะเขือพวง) and Thai eggplants (มะเขือเปาะ). This causes foreigners who have never had authentic Thai food to misunderstand, thinking what they are eating is authentic, when in fact it is modified. However, in London, you can find the Sriracha shop [a place that serves] the proper vegetables for authentic Thai green curry." 🇹🇭”

“Dined here last night. I love Thai food and very picky with the flavours. The dish I had was delicious and authentic. Staff are also very friendly They have a good selection of dishes where you can have the option of vegetables, chicken, prawns and pork (I think)”
