  “Love this place. The staff are always happy and welcoming, and the food is fantastic. Starters and mains were all spot on, cooked perfectly, and full of flavour. I was too full for desserts, but everything we had was excellent.Always a great experience at Little Olive.”

  “Came for dinner whilst on our night away, booked a table via Facebook messenger as could not find email address anywhere, restaurant confirmed 7pm for 2 people, however on arrival our table had been given to someone else. Not a problem as we were still seated straight away but host looked a bit annoyed like it was our fault somehow. Wait staff were super friendly and quick to take drinks order and then food order. Young barman that delivered our drinks was really chatty and polite. Restaurant was busy but a nice vibe. Food was absolutely excellent! It was one of the best pasta dishes I've had and was definitely value for money! Would definitely come again if we were in Barry”

  “What a gem of a find. Staff friendly, food exceptionally good( highly recommend the rigatoni con spezzatino - immense!!). Relaxed atmosphere, unrushed. Great value for money. If I’m ever in Glamorgan again I shall return.”

  “Forgot to take a photo but my goodness what a meal! Went to celebrate someone’s Birthday and for 35 of us, we were well treated. Starters fantastic and main meals all looked delicious. I had GF pasta/prawns and it was soooooo tasty. Lots of flavour like I don’t recall having for a long time anywhere. Parked on the road Gluten Free options available Really lovely staff”

  “The food was amazing, very tasty. Service was excellent when we first arrived. However 2 very large groups came in after us and the service declined a bit after that. We ordered additional drinks which didn't arrive until we asked again. We did have a free limoncello each which was a very nice gesture. It was extraordinarily noisy with the 2 large groups. The restaurant was very busy. We were charged for a main twice, but this was reduced when we noticed.”

  “Lovely lunch here, had the eggs Benedict with turkey bacon. Only change is the eggs would have been 10/10 if they were golden yolk/fresher. Everything else perfect! Smoothie was also amazing!!”

  “Leaving this review a little late as I thought I had done it previously! Visited here for a Valentines 2025 meal and the experience couldn't have been any better. Warm and inviting with excellent friendly and attentive staff. We were seated near the kitchen which added to the experience -- the smells! All.of our dishes were delicious and very well presented. Pleasure to recommend The Little Olive and thanks to everyone who helped make a special night all the more memorable.”

  “My mum and I have wanted to visit this restaurant for a while and we are so glad we did! The staff were lovely and the decor was great. We shared the pizza parma, a mixed salad, and garlic mushrooms and all was amazing! We will definitely be returning.”
