  “An absolutely fantastic evening for the Murder Mystery. Such a warm welcome from the owners and staff meant the evening had already started perfectly. The food during the event was fabulous. It was cooked to perfection. There was no ‘ hurry’ to contend with. The event itself was brilliant. The first I’ve ever been to. Lush is really such a great place. There is no rowdiness, no ‘ nasty atmosphere’, and as stated the owners and staff were fantastic. Let’s support local business. Go along and see for yourself. You won’t be disappointed”

  “Absolutely appalling experience. I booked a table for 7:00pm for what was supposed to be a special anniversary dinner. We arrived and were seated by 7:10pm, but when we tried to order, we were told the kitchen was closing at 7:15pm and they would not take our order. This was not made clear anywhere when booking, and the restaurant is advertised as being open until 10pm on Sundays. What made the situation even worse was the attitude of the staff. They were incredibly dismissive and made us feel like we were an inconvenience, rather than customers who had made a booking and arrived for it. We had booked specifically for an anniversary and instead ended up having to leave and find somewhere else to eat. The whole experience was completely unacceptable. Mistakes and misunderstandings can happen, but the way we were spoken to and treated was what really ruined the evening. If you have restrictions on when your kitchen stops serving, make this clear when people book. Do not accept a 7:00pm reservation and then treat customers like an inconvenience for arriving at 7:00pm. I have genuinely never left a negative review in my life, but this experience was just that bad. Extremely disappointing and, based on this experience, I would absolutely not recommend to anyone.”
