  “Normally not bad, had from it tonight & crispy honey chilli chicken was anything but crispy. Was like eating rubber. Threw half of it in the bin, won’t be back.”

  “Ten quid for an omelette on its own without Rice or Chips. The Chinese in Shaftesbury Co Sq Belfast give you Sirloin steak chips onions mushrooms and gravy for less than ten pounds.”

  “Possibly the worst meal i have ever had. How hard is it to make beef curry and rice. The fried rice was just that, no eggs, peas or anything, just clumpy rice. The mushrooms were barely cooked in the curry. Which in itself was brutal, the beef is clearly the cheapest cut they could find as I could chew through a packet of gum quicker. The watery curry sauce would be greatly improved if they just used a packet sauce. I will never be back and even phoned to complain which was received that if I hoked it all out of the bin and returned it I could get a refund off my next order. That call was as much as a waste of time as trying to chee through the beef.”

  “We have been ordering every wk from Gaze for many years now. Telephone staff are always lovely. Drivers super quick. Food is always gorgeous & hot. Peking Pork, Satay chicken, Salt & Chilli King Prawn all our favourites.”

  “As a creature of habit I always order the same thing. Salt & Chilli Chicken, Fried Rice and Salt & Chilli Chips and a portion of Satay Sauce. As others have said, maybe a bit on the pricey side but never had an issue with the food or service. Would go back.”

  “Tried New Gaze for the first time as our usual Chinese has changed hands and is now rank. The guy who took the order over the phone was polite and friendly. The food was delicious and we will defo be back. Plenty of chicken in the dishes, fresh veg and lovely flavours.”

  “Got a delivery tonight. Didn't take long to arrive. Think that explained the half cooked chips. Gravy and curry sauces (separate meals) weren't great. The deliver driver took it upon himself to go in to the garden and rattle the living room window. If there's a next time, which after tonight offerings i doubt there will be, I hope he can knock the door either by knocking the glass or using the letter box knocker, or even just ring the bell.”

  “We've just moved to Bangor and this place was recommended to us by a friend. We were very excited as we hadn't had a good Chinese in a while. Sadly we were overall very dissatisfied with the food. The soup was good, the ribs meaty but that's pretty much where it ends. The prawn toast was very crunchy, almost burned. No sauce with it so very dry to eat. I ordered a chicken chow mein as it's my go to. If I get a good one I'll stick with it for years. Sadly I was disappointed upon opening it. No vegetables and looked very greasy, literally noodles, some chicken and a few soy sprouts. It didn't taste bad but it was very bland and boring. Not worth £8.50. On the upside, I won't be needing a lip balm for the rest if the night!! My husband had the beef in honey chili sauce. Although acceptable, the beef just wasn't the right consistency, somewhat fatty. We won't be returning, such a shame. A positive though, service was friendly and bag was hot.”

  “One of the best . Had meals from here for many years . Nothing too much trouble . I like thick sauce and love mushrooms. Photo below is . Honey chilli chicken thicker sauce and mushrooms added in . Other favourites Satay Kung po Honey soya (wee kick to it ) Curry”
