About The White Horse
The White Horse is a real ale pub at 52 N Bar St in Banbury, listed as both a pub and a bar, and it also works as a live music venue and an event venue. The beer list includes Riverside Stout from Froth Blowers brewery. A back room has its own bar and its own bar staff, so drinks there are served without a trip to the main bar. Reservations are required for the venue. Dogs are welcome inside, which suits anyone visiting with a pet.

Customer Review Summary
Real ale draws the most praise, with one reviewer singling out the Riverside Stout from Froth Blowers. The outdoor garden, the cool atmosphere and half time themed food during the football also earn mentions, as does a birthday party held in the back room with its own bar. One reviewer was disappointed that bar staff did not recognise a CAMRA card despite the CAMRA banner.

“Had my 60th birthday party here on 17th Oct 2026. (About 30 guests) staff were really lovely, food was great. (Definitely more than needed) Good value for money, back room with own bar & bar staff, nice area for buffet, decent dance floor, plenty of seating inside & out. Would highly recommend. Thankyou Ken, Lou & bar staff.”
