About Saffy's Bistro
Saffy's Bistro sits on Dalblair Road in Ayr, working from a bistro format that leans into a varied menu built around seasonal Scottish produce. The kitchen runs midweek alongside the weekend, and the cooking moves across a wide spread, from a vegetarian chickpea, sweet potato and halloumi curry to a fish stew and a chilli ham that draws repeat attention. Plates are prepared to order, and the room takes bookings alongside walk-ins. Service runs at lunch and into the evening.

Customer Review Summary
Diners single out the food as the main draw, calling dishes like the chilli ham, the chickpea, sweet potato and halloumi curry, and the fish stew exceptional and freshly prepared. Service is widely described as friendly and efficient, though one diner reported a very salty prawn dish and rough handling of bottles by a young server. Most describe the bistro as warm and pleasant, and several say they will return.

“Had lunch today at the Saffys Bistro, order was taken by a young girl called Yasmine, she was nice but definitely not much experience, half naked outfit it’s not very suitable for an efficient customer service, ordered chicken tempura for my companions starter, for the main we had steak and chicken breast, food have been cooked and served absolutely perfectly. The chicken was tender and juice, steak was cooked perfectly, shame the prawns was very very salty, that’s the only minus if comes to meal. Lady Saffron was definitely very professional. Yasmine: no biting nails and not holding bottles with fingers and then walk to the customer. But as an outcome: fantastic , cosy place. Price as well in my opinion worth the experience.”
