“We picked this venue even though it was more expensive than other places for my mothers wake as she was a regular drinker there before her illness. It was a halloween themed wake as requested by my mum. When we arrived the staff straight away came over and said I thought this was a wake not a halloween party to which we explained it was both and they then asked how many were coming, we estimated 50 altho it wasnt quite that many but their attitude already set the tone. Bar staff were picky and stand offish from the start making an atmosphere and even closed the bar 2hrs early even though we paid extra for that facility. Highly disappointed at their lack of empathy and unwelcoming approach”

“Attended a party at the weekend Hall not very clean toilets dirty staff very unfriendly made it clear she did not like 21st birthdays parties which I found was very unprofessional considering people with spending money at the bar this could be a lovely venue if the place was cleaned up the staff was more friendly the lady was more interested in getting herself home shutting up which is a loss to the pub times are hard value your customers”
