Customer Review Summary
Most positive reviewers praise food that arrives fast and piping hot, with portions big enough for leftovers. Sweet and sour chicken balls are singled out for being cooked just right, and one diner calls the Singapore vermicelli well seasoned and cooked perfectly, alongside a starter mix. A reviewer whose Chinese friend enjoyed the meal says the meat dishes were fresh and full of flavour. The complaints are serious and split the picture. One reviewer says the kitchen has changed hands, leaving food bland and tasteless, with dishes that no longer resemble Chinese cooking. Another calls the sweet and sour chicken the worst they have had and the rice disgusting. Others describe orders failing outright. One says Just Eat marked an order as delivered when it never arrived, the restaurant's phones were off, and a refund was still pending. Another reports orders cancelled twice shortly after being accepted, with no phone call and no immediate refund.

“Tried MC China Wok Take Away with my friend and we both really enjoyed it. I’m honestly surprised by some of the bad reviews because all of the meat dishes we ordered were fresh, tasty, and full of flavour. The Singapore vermicelli was definitely my favourite, really tasty, well seasoned, and cooked perfectly. Everything arrived hot and the portions were good too. My friend is Chinese herself and she really enjoyed the food as well, which says a lot. We’ll definitely order again.”

“Food was very tasty and still pipping hot when it was delivered. Absolutely aces. Thank you for the excellent service you provided.”

“Food used to be tasty from this branch. Whoever has taken over the kitchen is NOT familiar with Chinese food. Food is bland, tasteless and many dishes do not even resemble Chinese food.”

“Absolute disgrace! Twice now that my order was cancelled 25 minutes after they initially accepted the order! No phone call, not enough time to reorder elsewhere, money not immediately refunded so no money to reorder elsewhere even if there was time too! Don't waste your money here!”
