Customer Review Summary
Reviewers are split, and the rudeness of the man at the counter is the most repeated complaint. Several describe him shouting, being condescending about a non-spicy ribs in curry sauce, or hanging up with a sudden "bye" after an order mix-up, and one longtime family customer says he ruined the experience. Even a positive reviewer calls the man on the phone unbelievably rude, and another finds the counter gruff but entertaining. The chicken chow mein is the most named dish, with one reviewer calling the lunchbox menu very tasty and another praising quick delivery that arrives hot. Food complaints are just as concrete: one reports old oil, discoloured prawn crackers, soggy battered prawns and oily satay chicken, another calls the food stale, dry and reheated, and a third could only eat the chicken and sweetcorn soup. Order errors also come up, including two regular chow meins arriving instead of a large and a regular. One reviewer describes arriving just after the shutters came down at 10.30pm on a Saturday, with no takeaway and no help.

“If I could give no stars I would . Took my money £22 for a takeaway and closed very promptly at 10.30pm on a Saturday night - shutters down by 10.32 when I arrived all lights out - no one came to the assist me - no takeaway. And frankly the last few times I’ve used them the man running the place behind the counter is down right rude. Please avoid .”

“Usually tastes fresh this time you could tell everything was cooked in old oil, prawn crackers discoloured, battered prawns soggy, satay chicken oily. If this food was served to me in a resteraunt I would have sent it back.”
