Quick info
About Abingdon Spice
Abingdon Spice is an Indian restaurant at 46 Stert St in Abingdon. The kitchen runs a banquet offer in which diners choose a starter, a main, a side and rice from the main menu, so the set meal draws on the regular dishes rather than a separate list. That gives a group or a couple room to build a full meal around their own preferences. Chicken Manchurian is one of the dishes on the menu.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers mostly praise the food as tasty, hot and generous, with the Sunday banquet and chicken Manchurian named. Some diners were taking home leftovers. Complaints centre on service: one waiter whisked plates and cutlery away during a family birthday meal, a delivery arrived far later than promised with no communication, and one order came cold with tough meat. Another found the banquet bill higher than the sign outside.

“This has imo been the best Indian in Abingdon for a long time Sadly this evening they said 1 hour for delivery but was virtually 2 hours Have to say the food was still ace but for a regular customer for this long (and I have left a lot of positive reviews) 2 hours with no communication is pants We’ll still use them but frankly annoyed”

“We had read mixed reviews so were hesitant about visiting this restaurant. However, we had the Sunday Banquet offer which provided a starter, main, side and rice for £14.95 all chosen from the main menu, and it really was excellent value. The food was hot and tasty, well presented and in generous portions. In fact, some people were taking home their leftovers! The staff were also friendly and attentive. We will return next time we're in the area. Thank you!”

“Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! The food was delicious, fresh and packed with flavour, while the service was warm, friendly and attentive. Everything was spot on, and it’s clear that a lot of care goes into both the food and the customer experience. Would definitely recommend this place and will certainly be coming back!”
