  “I went to this chinese for the first time on Friday and coulndt help my self but to come back, I saw a review and was saying the portions were small. Dont let yourself to be fooled. Portions give you for 2 meals .Family bussiness so No card payments but there is a morrison accross the street with a cash machine so you need to make sure to bring cash or ypur bank card along! Very proffesional and friendly. Lovely food and fresly cooked.NO FROZEN STUFF!(next door if you ask for prawn they will sell you the tempura prawn frozen package !!!For what you see in the pictures I paid £21 something and I have order from other chinese and the bill could be eaaily £40-£50 for the same !!!! Trust me a bargain for a lazy day!!!”

  “Portions are extremely small, corn chicken over cooked and couple of bits was just like eating crispy batter, had corn chicken other places and this is the worst. Food used to be nice, wouldnt eat here again”

  “I ordered curry sauce and noodles the curry sauce had chilli flakes in it I've never heard of that the curry sauce wasn't nice and the noodles were smoked and looked burnt a total waste of money when I was in another person was in complaining about the meal that isn't good”

  “Have tried various places since the closure of Chopsticks. This will be my go to place going forward. Have tried the Special Chow Mein and the Special Curry. Both were delicious. I don’t like my curry overly spicy. It was to my liking. I have also tried the bbq spare ribs and the Crispy Pancake. I’ll definitely have theses again too. Highly recommend. Lady behind the counter was very helpful and friendly.”

  “Family owned, very friendly, quality food, only Chinese I've liked since getting to ABZ, probably won't go elsewhere unless the quality drops, and then I'll update my review. But for now, best of the 3/4 places I've tried, by FAR.”

  “After the reviews I wanted to try out the place..some terrible smell came from the garden where we had chance to see the kitchen is in awful condition. The food has no taste and the sweet and sour sauce was a joke.. The veggie curry is like a Morrisons savers. I am very easy going but this place was terrible.”

  “I have been eating from this amazing Chinese since I was a child! It's a family run, community driven place and that hasn't changed in over 20 years! The recipes are still exactly the same and the same friendly faces greet you when you walk through the door. I've been to many places in this world but nothing compares to Golden City! Strongly recommend! HOT TIP: Order the BBQ sauce, you wont regret it! 🥰”

  “Went to it as no other chinese near me was open at 10:30 pm. The shop is very outdated and needs investment, even the TV seems like it was bought in the early 90s. Expensive, extremely greasy and thrifty portions, with little meat. My partner feels extremely sick after eating it. Also funny to see that they have put up their own review below, to increase their rating, the hour after mine was posted 😂😂😂”

  “This is the best Chinese in Aberdeen. Fast delivery but more important than the food is always good. The beef chow main is the best been going here for 10 years now. Prizes fine. Have tried others but keep coming back here. No other gives me a beef chow main in this way”
