Customer Review Summary
Tray bakes and coffee draw the most praise, with reviewers calling the tray bakes delicious and the coffee nice, and one singling out the hot chocolate as probably one of the best they have tried in Aberdeen. Locally made treats and sandwiches round out the offer, and juice and soft drinks also get a mention. Close behind is the space itself, described as spacious, bright and relaxing, with plenty of tables for business chats and room for children to play, which a couple of parents specifically value. Staff come across as friendly, kind and helpful, and people who work nearby describe a warm welcome on every visit. The caveats are a menu some find basic and limited at lunch, with one diabetic reviewer finding little suitable to eat, and one reviewer who describes a rude remark from a member of staff after asking about cashback. One brunch party notes that their order was brought promptly to the table once ready in the kitchen.

“I asked the lady at the bar if they offered cashback with a purchase, as I needed cash for an event. She said no, which is completely fair and I had no issue with that. What I did find unnecessary was the remark that followed, telling me I “should have gone to the bank if I wanted cash.” That comment came across as rude and uncalled for. I was fully aware my request was a long shot, and there was no need for the extra attitude. A simple “sorry, we don’t offer cashback” would have been perfectly fine. Very poor customer service overall.”

“I did not realise that there was a cafe in this premises. There was plenty of seats and tables to have business chats etc. It was very busy at the time l was there. Being a diabetic there was limited food for me. I wiukd certainly pay another visit for a coffee.”
