  “A fantastic place in downtown serving delectable seafood, steak and other options. While the setting is modern, the vibe is inviting, laid back, and warm and is definitely part of the overall experience. The host and servers were also on point, greeting us and guiding us through the menu options. While there are several options to choose from, for me the star of the show was the whole fried fish. Crispy on the outside and succulent on the inside, the cheek meat and flaky body with accompanying sauces just made my night. The side dishes are also amazing. Overall a great place for a personal or a business meal including a great setting supported by warm and thoughtful staff.”

  “Bungalow really showed out 🔥 Had a cute little date night with my honey, and the experience did not disappoint. The food? Absolutely amazing. Every single thing we ordered was hitting — from the steak (perfectly cooked), to the creamy mashed potatoes, the mac & cheese, and those Brussels sprouts… whew, chef’s kiss. Definitely the highlight of the night. The atmosphere was beautiful too — great vibe, nice setting, just an overall good place to be. Service was okay, nothing bad at all, just not as memorable as the food. But honestly, the quality of the meal made up for it. Overall, I’d definitely come back for the food alone. 10/10 on that part 🤍”

  “Wonderful little restaurant with awesome staff. The restaurant is moving a few blocks to the Rice building at the beginning of July. I hope it doesn’t lose its charm. Not a cheap experience but totally worth it. The seafood dip starter is indeed delicious. The truffle fries were greasy/soggy but still flavorful. Whole fried snapper and Cajun ribeye were excellent. Make a reservation. Party room upstairs. Highly recommend.”

  “It\nWas just okay. I had a better seafood dip at lost and found , which was very hood, no shade. This place is cute, but it seems to need a update. Fabric chairs could be a little cleaner... i\nGuess I just was expecting more from this place.I ended up eating from the happy hour menu. The calamari was so basic.I probably could have picked a better frozen bag from trader to joe's. The wagyu meatball was a little dry until I put the seafood dip on top along with the sauce that came with the meatball that turned it all the way up. And it was pricey , drinks was just okay. Overall mehh...”

Luckily, I had the same great experience I went on a weekday during Happy Hour and everything was exceptional. The customer service...food (ribeye steak, green beans and mac & cheese)...drinks...grown and sexy atmosphere...old school R&B music/playlist. Top tier! Will definitely return”

  “Strangely, we had a business dinner for clients and rather than seat us in the nice looking downstairs restaurant, we were seating in this tiny hidden room behind a bookcase with a cackling group of people celebrating a birthday sitting right next to us. It couldn’t have been a worse situation. Regardless, we made the best of it but cheered when the other party left. The food was tasty, so no complaints about it.”
