  “Went here for my son's surprise engagement dinner and everything was phenomenal. From the start with valet service to the hostess offering complimentary champagne. Our 1 waiter for our ever growing party was AMAZING 👏🏾 ... Kevyn thank you so much for everything we really appreciate everything you and the staff did for us. The food was so good .. our tomahawk was cooked to perfection. The potatoes a must try 😋 We counted it as a date night too cause the atmosphere was so romantic”

  “Very neat local option. Loved the dimmed lighting and starting sparkling wine to set the mood. It was incredibly busy but the popularity didn’t impact our table conversations from a noise perspective. Food was not inexpensive, but every meal we ordered for the table was delicious. I highly recommend the shrimp ravioli with steak, it was delicious. Wait staff were great at making recommendations and really helped us land on the perfect food choices.”

  “Our server was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we sat down, she was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. She took the time to check on us throughout our meal, kept our drinks filled, and made sure our food arrived just right. What really stood out was how she went above and beyond. We were visiting from Connecticut, and there was also a bachelorette party celebrating. She happily took extra photos for everyone, making sure we captured those special memories without ever making us feel like it was an inconvenience. Her kindness, positive attitude, and exceptional customer service truly made our experience even more enjoyable. She made us feel welcomed and valued, and it’s rare to receive service this outstanding. Thank you for helping make our visit to Houston so memorable!”

  “Aidan was amazing! He’s very attentive and so knowledgeable about the menu. The chicken Parmesan is really good, I would request more of the peppers because it made the dish stand out compared to the others. Their supersonic gin and tonic also stood out. How they made a simple a show stopper needs to be study. The blackened chicken dish was very tender and flavorful. Had a great experience and will be back!”

  “Jany at Joey Uptown provided outstanding service from start to finish! She was welcoming, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. She checked on us consistently without being overbearing, had a great attitude, and made us feel genuinely valued as guests. Her recommendations were great, and she made the entire dining experience enjoyable. Excellent customer service like hers is hard to find. If you’re dining at Joey Uptown, definitely ask for Jany. You won’t be disappointed!”

  “Kacey the manager was so delightful and full of energy, she put me on to a new sauce for the hibachi wings and it was a 10/10. Lily was my bartender she also turned me onto a new drink that I now love. The atmosphere here is always so welcoming, filled with smiles, and some of the best customer service. I recommend this place so much”

  “Had a great meal at Joey Uptown celebrating our 6 year anniversary! Started with the chicken lettuce wraps, which were fresh and packed with flavor. Great way to kick things off. The blackened chicken, prepared by Chef Eduardo, was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice, juicy and cooked well. To wash it all down, I had a frozen Irish that was absolutely delicious & the perfect drink for the meal. Our server Michael recommended the butter cake for dessert, and it was amazing. The perfect way to end the celebration. Manager Capri made sure everything ran smoothly and made the experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for solid food, great drinks, and excellent service, especially for a special occasion!”
